GraciousLegacy - 2015-01-22 1:41 PM Here's my question......How in the heck do you get the nails out??? The pallets that I have access to I can't get the nails out. I had plans to do some cool stuff and collected a ton of pallets only to discover that I seriously can not get the dang nails out.
You have to cut them apart.  We couldn't get them out either so we just the planks off.
Hmm, ok so the nails are still in them? You cut through the nails on the back side....trying to understand....what did you use? I have a sawz all...
We did use a sawzall with metal cutting blades.  We left the nails in as it cut them flush with the wood and then they are attached to the wall so it gives it some character I thought.

I WISH we would have done this! We couldn't get a metal blase in town so it was manual labor for me! A few of our boards still have nail heads in and I love the way it looks!

My sister makes pallet signs with bible verses on them and she sells them on Pinterest.  She does a really good job. She is very artistic.  I wish I had one to post so you could all see it.
