| I have fed just about every supplement they make. Have fed these for at least a year at a time so they got a fair trial. Platinum is far superior. If you will you compare supplements you will find that Platinum contains a long list of amino acids (they end in -ine) that other supplements do not contain. Platinum also contains their products Biosponge and Osteon. I got tired of having to order something for hooves, something for joints, something for the gut then mixing feed was mess. I finally decided that Platinum was cheaper in the long run.
I feed one scoop per day.
You can probably get it from a vet and save the shipping charges. If you get set up on Autoship the shipping cost is half.
I also use the product for anhydrosis and have had the best results with it over other products. |

Location: Probably On the Road to the Next Barrel Race! | FLITASTIC - 2015-02-14 11:11 AM The container says 1-3 scoops TWICE daily for barrel horses. I feed ONE scoop twice daily and that's plenty. Any more than that and I have to peel them off the wall! There is an exact replica product that is cheaper. Its made by Santa Cruz Equine health. THey even compare theirs with platinum side by side and their are no differences. Quite a bit cheaper and in a pellt Just google Santa Cruz equine health. Its the wellness formula
just curious...do YOU feed the exact replica?? |

Location: Probably On the Road to the Next Barrel Race! | I did compare Santa Cruz Wellness and Platinum. At least on paper, they appear to be more or less identical. And WAY cheaper. Why not? I'm ordering some Santa Cruz Wellness!! |

| You need to realize that Platinum contains Biosponge and Osteon which other supplements cannot use. Biosponge keeps water in the gut and Osteon is important in maintaining tendons and ligaments. You may not have a need for these but I do. |

The regular PP has it, not just the PP CJ, right? |

| going to try the Santa Cruz Wellness-the only difference I see is no bio-sponge but it does have Natural Zeolite which is Osteon-if your horse is healthy then I donβt see bio-sponge being the end all, cause itβs mainly for diarrhea anyway. JMO |

| I guess I better stock with Platinum. The Santa Cruz says not proven to be safe for pregnant mares. Also I take the human Platinum as my vitamin. |

Location: the high desert | Question time! I am currently feeding FORCO and tight joints, would switching to platinum performance truly take the place of both of these products? To switch to platinum CJ would not be beneficial to me as the cost of the FORCO and tight joints combined is cheaper than the CJ. Also could platinum performance be fed with total equine? |
