Mulberry tripped bad at first, troy lost the reins and they ventured back over the timer.. Just tough luck.

Friday night Jimmy Bryant hit the second barrel, reached and held it up, but it slowed him down a bit. It cost him time to set the barrel, but would have cost him more to be a +5.

Mulberry is one horse that has already proven herself time & time again. Alone with Troy & all his accomplishments. I'm just glad they are both okay.

The ground seems to be giving the barrel racers trouble.

That was awful. Only one advances out of that group and there's some extremely fast horses in there. Sad that it wasn't groomed the same for all. Some of the near falls looked bad.

Today's barrel race was not good watching at all. The ground was horrible and a huge disappointment as this is suspose to be a first class deal and today the ground could have hurt many great horses. No excuse in this day and age. Most hit barrels because of slips. It wasn't a barrel race today. It was an obstacle course on ground slick as snot. So glad I didn't go up and pay to see it.
Prayers for all the horses and riders today.

I was really rooting for Tana Poppino and Goose. That horse can't be beat when he leaves the barrels up! Such an amazing team and Tana is such an inspiration!

I feel the ground is crusial to barrel racing. There was very valuable horse and riders running. The ground should be consistent for all goes when the top runs are taken from those goes. This was not done by the out come of the last two goes.

They were smokin'! Even after they kind of let up after the third barrel.
