Right hind.  He's not pulling it underneath himself.  I would have hocks checked and go from there, since that is most common. 

  I hope it's just a bit of hock arthritis. We were just about to start prepping this horse to sell when he came up lame. At least hocks can be managed.

Location: bring on the heat, NV		Xray that stifle..... Just got back from the vet. we were so fixated on our mares scar on her ankle I never thought to check it.... Her stifle is trashed... fractures/bone chips. We know when it happened but not how or why so bad. So she is full on retired now (been semi retired for 3 years and was just rode once just before she got this hurt). NOT that your gelding is that bad! Im just sad lol.

 That is awful! I hope that's not the case with my gelding. We can't afford to keep a useless horse around. We board.
