He does not become God... God (in the from of George Burns) calls upon John to spread His Word... Then shows up in court to defend him... Great movie! "Oh, God!"

Location: Arkansas | Love The House That Built me. My childhood home is no longer there. They tore it down and built a school on the property. Interestingly, a couple of years agod when my stepson was playing football, he had a game there. I was sitting on the bleachers wondering if I would get in trouble if I went for a walk on the creek on the backside of the property. I spent lots of hours there as a kid, riding and playing in the creek. Automatic by Miranda actually is the song that takes me back more though. |

I too love Fleetwood Mac but have a special fondness for Creedence Clearwater Revival.

I hope that's true.... I really hope she earned the right to sing this song.. |

Hate to say I'm wrong, writers are Tom Douglas and Allen Shamblin. |

She sang the song written by those two songwriters, because it absolutely depicted her life to every detail of the song. She broke down and cried the first time she heard it. Her parents even felt like the song was meant for her. Not everyone sings about something they lived and they don't have to in order to move us or entertain us, but this song was her life growing up. |

If anyone here is expecting me to diss this young lady... You better not be holding your breath.... Because I promise you won't survive.. She has a wonderful voice and carries a tune well... (not to mention she's very cute) ...and it seems she plays a guitar quiet well too... (That's a plus!) |

Location: Montana | I like some many different types of music, artists, composers, whatever. Not sure I have a song that continuously defines me. In other words, I'm one of those people who uses music because at any given time it can say what I cannot express. So one day I may feel like Miranda Lambert's Gunpowder and Lead, and the next like Natalie Imbruglia's Torn (those two are just for instance sake). But I love music, love to listen to it, love all kinds of different songs, and can hardly go even across town without the radio on. I love older musicians/music groups too, from Pink Floyd to Rolling Stones to Dean Martin to Aerosmith to Eartha Kitt to Santana, mostly depending on the mood I'm in. |
