While I clearly support my company, I am cautious about making a post an advertisement. That said, we developed stabilized rice bran in the 1980's as a grain/starch limiter in the diet. RG is very different with different goals. It has effects from the mouth back in normalizing the entire digestive system, and improving nutrient uptake of all that is fed. I guess I made an advertisement anyway. Sorry.

Thank you! After posting I did some research and I think it will do more overall than just the flax I currently feed.

I fed stabilized rice bran for about a year. My horse liked it and looked good. I met another barrel racer who's horse looked phenomenal so I questioned her about her feed regimen. She only fed Renew Gold and hay, nothing else. Week later
(after doing some hw on RG
) I decided to try it. I refuse to take my horse off it now. He gets half as much and looks absolutely amazing. He's filled out more, his coat is unbelievable and although it is a bit more expensive per bag I feed a lot less so I am saving money.
I really love the product!

I have been doing a lot of research about renew gold and I think it would work well for my gelding of he would eat it. He's kind of picky. But he is currently on pasture 24/7 and there is usually at least one or two round bales of hay available as well. The hay is a Timothy grass mixture. I just have not been able to find it in my area, I'm in western PA. I've asked a couple feed stores and none of them have heard about it and I guess aren't willing to do some research for the extra business :

Bradley Caldwell distributes your area and they have it in stock. Any store that buys from them can get it by asking. Or call 530-934-9300 and you will get help.
