Take heed to all the younger people wanting to drop out and use grants.. it doesnt work that way.. |

Yea. I qualify to get it once my GPA is back up from withdrawing in 07. It's almost back up, I've brought it up from 1.7 to 2.3 with only 9 credit hours in one semester. So one more with 16 hours would do it. I've got it planned out where it will be doable tours fall. I was just frustrated, and then my friend on fb who dropped out because she had a kid at 21... Had no problem getting government money no matter her GPA simply because she had a baby. It makes it feel like its a punishment for me not to have kids or be married. Just frustrated me Β

At the very least it makes it easier to be lazy and make more money than the average everyday worker |

Pretty much.. It's one thing if you're a responsible parents... But so many young parents out there without a clue, riding the system, getting indefinite grants for school, government hand outs left and right. It just makes me want to shake ppl. |

Back in the day salaries were way way less then they are today, so yes it did cost us years and years of earnings. |
