I have used Jailbreak a couple of times.... either it was helping him or he was just calming down more naturally on his own. I also have a Focus in my kit, but he got hurt right after I bought it and it's still unopened.
I had my esthetician get me some lavendar oil.... I will probably be trying it out today when I ride. I'm not sure if he's fresh or seeing monsters, but I'm hoping it helps him.

i SWEAR by this stuff: Calmex V from MVP. I have a mare that gets very anxious. I only give it to her the days that I compete and the difference is amazing! She is also oen of the horses my husband takes to team rope on and he can tell the difference when she has her scoop before she goes! She is vet checked, healthy, and not hurting anywhere. But she is cutting bred and very much an anxious and tries to overwork. But with the Calmex V she stays more "level" and rides so much better! Feel free to contact me to ask about it!

Pozzi Relax
(the pre-race
) from Oxy is amazing! It has the Jailbreak, which has an acid reducer in it to help those that get edgy from being stomachy and the Oxy Calm combined in one tube. I love this product even more than I did the old OxyCalm
