Location: Royal J Performance Horses, AZ | HUGE FAN of CB and BEDUINO horses. I have two CB granddaughters right now. Both very personable. Like people, enojy being loved on. If they are scared or hesitant reassurance and soft hand gets you farther than force...
If you try and rough handle a CB you WONT get far. I promise...
The shooting chick mare has given me 2 babies so far by different stud, both have been: smart, trainable, like people, and FAST with an UNGODLY amount of agility.
my Royal Jetta Chick mare is SPRY, fast and has a FIRE in her. shes sweet. I bred her this year to Sweet First Down for a Race or barrel prospect. Not sure which yet... maybe both?

BUT i also want to make the point. I NEVER judge a horse on its pedigree. each horse is an individual and i treat them as such. When i was looking for broodmares people said RUN from CB, Beduino, and Zevi. i now have all 3 of those lines in my broodmare band, and i couldnt be happier with the mares and what they have produced thus far.

I find that kind of funny, because Zevi is fairly popular around here, especially crossed on First Down Dash, either in the track or barrel world. Anything FDD crossed on Zevi is hard to beat at the track here, and one of the popular studs around here is out of FDD by a Zevi mare.
All this info has been enlightening. :)

agreed ! Hence why i crossed the Jetta mare on Sweet First Down. Son of First Down Dash out of a GREAT Zevi daughter. He's a full brother to Dashin bye

Location: Depends where the next barrel race is..... | Love mine!!! We have had multiple winners that were CB or Beduino bred. The horse I am running is CB bred. She is a little quirky, but she loves to run a set of cans! I went to Circuit Finals twice on a Grand daughter of Beduino. My son won a go at Josey Junior Worlds on her and also won the BFA Junior World championship on her.

| When I was looking at this guy www.allbreedpedigree.com/jets+midnite+son all my friends said to run as far away from him as possible because of his breeding! He would be too hot. Uh no. He is super talented and quiet. Big, silly personality and LOVES people. His dam is the sweetest mare and so easy to handle so when her Ivory James baby came home from track I bought him :) he's been even easier than his big bro. I don't write a horse off based solely on breeding | |
