Location: Arkansas | I have a Jeff Smith barrel saddle and love it. We recently bought a used Marty Byrd ranch cutter that is a 15" and I have threatened to steal it from hubby. I could definitely run barrels in it. |

Location: De Berry, Tx | Β Not sure where you are located but I have had 2 saddles made by L?R in Terrel. They are made in a modified Buster Welch tree. Fit everything and sit wonderfully. Easy to work with and VERY reasonable. |

After many barrel saddles this is the first time in years that I have actually felt comfortable! Not being thrown forward or fighting to keep my feet under me.... I don't think Stanley has any of them done yet. Mine is going to be on a Bob Marshall cutting tree and will look like a stripped down cutter. I'm really looking forward to working on it once the tree is completed. They're having to carve the bars by hand since they don't usually make trees that small. Mine is a 14.5" Darn, I was hoping you had it already! Please post pics of this when you get it; i'm super excited and interested to see it! I had an old, worn out, 16" Bob Marshall cutter years ago that rode really nice! A little flatter seated than the Joey or Ricky, but it rode and fit a horse great.
I know! I figure it will be next year before it's done, but I know it will be worth the wait. We are doing it single skirt and cut down, because like you mentioned, we ride shorter backed horses and don't need the extra bulk. I also want it as light as possible, lol I figure if I absolutely hate it I can still sell it as a youth cutter. |

Location: Missouri | I purchased this saddle used as a colt/husband saddle, but I LOVE it! It's made by Kasperski Saddlery, as far as I know they do not have a website. Sorry it's so dirty in the pic...

Location: the end of the rainbow | I recently picked up an older Martin /Sherry Cervi. It has a nice close contact & fairly flat seat like a cutter but it has a tad more "pocket" in the seat than a cutting saddle does. I really like the way it rides & am super sad that it doesn't fit the horse I bought it for. Now I'm really interested in trying out one of their newer models.

Location: USA | I know the KT balanced ride by shiloh is on a modified buster welch tree and has a flat seat. It's great for those who tend to ride a little more forward as it helps you stay on your butt. It also has forward hung stirrups |

Location: Wisconsin | Guess i didnt realize that the Buster Welch Tree is just a bar type, you can put several different size swells on it. and different angles etc. I was thinking it was just a tree he designed and was all standard except for ordering your seat size. I |
