rodeomom3 - 2015-06-26 10:25 AM I have 100 acres and the back part catches the overflow from the creek  when we have torrential rains like we just got.  I just came back from checking it out and still have standing water on about 20 acres :(.  It will have to dry for the mosquitos to go away.

When you come in the front gate to our place and come down the driveway we have a dry creek that feeds into our pond/tank and when it rains it catches a lot of water its been pretty full for the last 8 weeks with all the rain we have been getting and thats when we get the mosquitos when our creek holds water for a long period of time but for some reason this time around they have not been bad at all really strange I think. We dont have near the water standing as you do, but I can remember the days when I was little and stayed with my grandparents in Houston how bad the mosquitos were during the summer months.

Armondo I think is what it is called.... Works GREAT for killing fire ants!! Now our mosquito problem... I have no clue how to killed them jerks! We have a pond and trees, even with everything mowed down we have huge swarms. My poor horses are miserable! Spray only lasts so long and its pretty hot to be trying to keep fly sheets on them!
