I became addicted to Justin bent rails when I was working for a trainer and was on my feet all day. They are super comfy and hold up well. Plus they are stylish and reasonably priced.

Justin Gypsies. I have to wear them to school because I cannot wear shoes. I ride in them everything.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the replies!! I've heard of some of those brands and others I have not. I looked up the style number on mine and I guess they're called Ariat Crossfires (#16847). I'm not sure if I'll venture out of this brand or not just because they've worked for me so far. I have a pair of Ariat lace ups (Ariat Canyons) and I love the tight feel on my foot and the tread on the bottom. I guess I like that stable, secure feeling on my foot while in the stirrups if that makes sense?? I've heard of that Twisted brand from a friend of a friend who likes them too. The others are very nice and I'm sure I could find them at a good price as well..but I'm so cheap. I'm looking to spend $100 or less, maybe a little more. Lol. The Durango Lady Rebel brand is one that I'm interested in because of the tread. My friend has 3 pairs of them so I may ask her if I can borrow a pair and ride in them to see if I like them! I'll add a picture of them on here. I appreciate all of the suggestions. I may try a few that I know my friends have and then make a decision. I'm half tempted to buy the same exact pair newer, that I have now! Lol. I also would just ride in lace up boots but I just would rather wear my square toes as I like the looks of them more. I probably sound vain but ya know

My all time favorites are a pair of brown suede men's ariat boots. When I was in 5th grade, my dad took me boot shopping. He didn't understand women's shoe sizing so he just bought me men's boots. That was 11 years ago. I wore the boots smooth and they have permanent silver marks on the inside from stirrups. They were put through absolute ABUSE. I wore them EVERYWHERE. The only cleaning they got was being dunked in water or hosed off. The only issue now is that the sole is separating from the boot, but I'm going to see if that can be fixed because these boots are 100% perfectly molded to my feet. I have another pair of ariats now and I love them but my feet are wide so they don't fit quite as well as the mens, and I don't really like the pointed toe or how high the heel is (my mom bought them, but said they rubbed her ankle so I just inherited them). I also have a pair of Corral's that are pretty but just not as comfortable and I don't see them being as durable. Those are my "fashion boots".

I have no luck with Ariats. They just don't last. I had 2 pair of Ariats that each lasted one year. I like my Justin bent rails and Twisted X.

I love my Ariat Ranchero's but since they're my "dress" boots, I'm scared to ride in them and get them dirty!! I am looking into Tinhauls, I heard a couple of you mention those. Are they comfy?

I work standing on concrete all day so I wear Ariat Probaby or the thick soled Fatbaby.  I have Anderson Bean for dress boots.  And I can wear out a pair of Ariats in a year but I also wear almost everyday and ride motorcycle with them as well.

I have a pair of Ariat's in size 8 that I have worn less than 10 times.  I have a pin in my ankle and if something rubs it at all I can't tolerate it.  These are the brown boots with lime green stitching and details.  I'd make somebody a good deal on them, as I won't be able to wear them.  Nothing wrong with them at all, they just rub the pin in my ankle.

Thanks everyone!! I keep hearin about those Twisted X boots. I still really love my Ariats but let me tell ya...I borrowed my friend's Durango Lady Rebel boots last night and they felt like I had tennis shoes on! Not only that but I felt 100 times better riding last night as my feet and ankles felt stable in the stirrups, not sore, and I actually felt more confident and could focus on riding instead of on the malfunctions I was having with my feet and ankles. I'm very impressed. I'll always love my Ariats but I think I've made a decision to get a pair of Durangos. Her's are very worn in and that's why they could've been sooo comfortable but she has three pairs and assures me she'll never get another boot and I know why! The ones below are one kind she has that I wore "Meadow N Lace" but I really like their "Ramped up" styles/colors. She also said you have to be careful because some of the Lady Rebel boots have more of a plastic bottom and are slicker and I wouldn't like that. I thought I'd share these because I was very impressed. I'm sure all of the others are great but I would love to try them first wearing them out and about and riding before I ever bought them. Wish that was possible. Lol.

Also, if you're on a tight budget like me, they're not too outrageous at all. I've found them for decent prices on amazon and ebay too. Here's the link to all of the Durango Lady Rebel boots.

I love my Dan Post's and Tin Haul's.....

Have a pair of Boulets, but I will not use them riding, or even going to work... Hubby got them for me last year at the NFR, and they are gaitor....they are my fancy boots...

Also have a pair of Justin's gypsies and a pair of Ariat fatbabies. Those are my mud stompers.

Some "pretty" Justin's and Corral's... they get rotated out with the others.

I bought a pair of the Durango's last year and yes, they feel like you are wearing sneakers... very comfortable to wear, but....... they didn't last more than a year..... and they are falling apart at the seems now.... Also the paint was flaking bad about 2 months after I bought them.....
Where as the Dan Post's and Tin Haul's that are 3 years old are still going strong....

I really feel you get what you pay for with the Durango's.... They might be cheaper, but there is a reason for that... just MHO.

yea I have a boot thing.... have 10 pair at the moment.... but a girl can never have enough boots, right....

I'll have to look into those too. My mom is actually a Dan Post dealer so that might be something worth me looking into! My friend's had her's for 5 years and they look like mine, worn down and used. Lol. But I can see that! We'll see what I decide, I over analyze things sometimes and don't wanna regret my decision! And that's ok, if I could have that many boots I would!!!

I like Ariats, but the new ones seem to fall apart faster than they used to.

I have Justin Bent rails, and while they hold up, they hurt my feet and legs walking around. I think they are just too flat for me in the sole.

I've also had durangos... comfortable, but fall apart quickly. They are not terribly expensive though, so it's not that big of a deal.

For those of you who like the feel of Ariat boots but have had some that haven't lasted like they should, be sure and contact the company, as they take great pride in their product and appreciate the feedback.  Also, if you have something other than Ariat but don't have the comfort level, you can purchase the Ariat insoles (just like are in the regular Ariat boots) at most any local retailer.  I work for the company that sells these and they are amazing!

Thanks, I might try that. I have a pair that are a few years old and the leather is cracking. Not sure if they will do anything, but worth a shot. The boots are in great condition otherwise.

Probably not if they are a couple years old.  That would be considered normal wear and tear.  Some leathers are more durable to wet and mucky conditions than others.
