| I think she's cute, and I hope she turns out to be a great find for you. I'd have given it a shot too.
Did the vet check her teeth to estimate age? At least she has some markings you could use to try to match up. |

Location: Where I am happiest | OK, sooooo the 2011 & 12 video's only showed those riding so if she's 4 she wouldnt be under saddle yet and no, no match for her.The first video horse of the 2011 looked really really close, but I couldnt tell if that horse had the short right front sock? That would put her 6 though. The 2012 catalog I didnt find a match. The sale results show no pictures to match her to. So still looking for the 2011 sale catalog, and the 2013 sale catalog. I'm just trying to match her white markings to whatever pic's. Someone knows this horse! Someone's Mom, aunt, brother, sister, neighbor or friend used to own this horse. |

Frankly, I dont care why or how she ended up in the situation she was in. It is always a gamble whether your buying a prospect, or one out of the kill pen. She's only 4 years old. The only way to eleminate most of the gamble is to buy a finished going horse. I also dont know ANYBODY who doesnt like a "Deal" and we thought she was worth the gamble. We are also willing to pay for the papers as I stated above, but we have to find out WHO she is to even get that far. We will find out WHAT she is when we get her home.
I totally agree but I think for the money, they may not want her to have papers. And since you were willing to take the risk, I wouldn't think it mattered who she was exactly. If you see a good prospect, papers shouldn't be an issue. For instance, they may not want bad genetics to be passed on- so they pulled the papers since she is a mare? Because who wouldn't want a FG mare for cheap and want to breed her if she didn't ride? That's all I am trying to say. I have seen it personally.
But to join in on the bandwagon-I still wish you well with your hunt. |

Location: Central Texas | I am no help but just wanted to say thank you for saving her! I hope you find out who she is and she ends up rocking it for you! There are ALOT of GOOD horses that are at auctions/kill sales etc through no fault of their own. They aren't all there because they are junk. |

What about getting some close up pics of her and the brand and sending them to Fulton Ranch. Maybe that will jog their memory a bit. I've been lookin, but haven't found anything yet either. |

| I looked at the 2013 sale results: http://www.fultonhorsesale.com/2013%20Fulton%20Performance%20Horse%...
I then cross referenced with google and fb. I found pictures and/or descriptions of all horses consigned by Fulton and no matches.
ETA: Checked these too http://www.fultonranch.com/fultonSaleResults.htm
Checked these also http://www.fultonhorsesale.com/HorseSale2012Results.pdf
(really thought I had one for a minute.... so close)

I'm not thinking they would put their brand on a recipient mare. |

That's what I was going to ask. If using DNA was a possibility at all.... |

Not necessarily
You have to test against the sire and dam,
For example you would parantage verify
Streak of fling as the sire and firewater fiesta as the dam
If it comes back as negative, for either/or then you have to do it over again with a different sire, and/or dam |

I understand they will not search the entire database for a match. But if you can present a list with a limited number of possible stallions they might work with you. |

Location: Mims, FL | I don't have anything constructive to ad either but I just wanted to wish you good luck! I am also searching for history on a horse i bought from Bowie! He also has a brand but its not a ranch brand so I can't even remotely figure out where he came from. :( |

Sadly IMO experience they don't, you have to pay for them to check each sire dam combination |

Location: Where I am happiest | Well, she would most likely only be by either ASOF or CS. Seo doing DNA matches from there should be fairly easy. But matching the mares? Holy Smokes. Is that possable? Will AQHA do that? |

If it is not a match with whatever sire/dam you list, will they at least verify to you if the stallion is correct? |
