I'm a pretty motivated person and set a lot of goals for myself. I also like this book my boyfriend got me, "Heavenly Horse Sense" by Rebecca Ondov. It starts with a scripture, has a short horsey story that Rebecca's been through/experienced, and ends with a prayer. I like to read one every day or every other day! God keeps me motivated

I also agree with Mind Gym. Great great book! If I feel like I'm struggling with something in particular, I'll find the chapter that relates most to my issue and read it a few times. It covers a lot of the bases that barrel racers struggle with. Self doubt, perfectionism, slumps, etc.
I recently purchased "A Lifetime of Observations and Reflections On and Off the Court" by John Wooden. The few chapters I've read have been very motivational as well.
