| Now I wanna try a Cadwell! My favorite saddle is my Billy Cook! I also love my circle Y saddle, but it doesn't fit my horses at all! |

Location: wolverton,mn | any of you that ride caldwells, have you tried a Tami Sen as by Jeff smith? I have two caldwells but one might be a touch too small so I'm looking at the Tammy Sen as saddle. I need to sell Caldwell first |

I rode in a Jeff Smith and its a decent saddle but its not as nice, imo, as a caldwell. What tree and size is the caldwell you are selling? |

Location: NC | I'm cheap I guess because I love a Pro Rider. I played saddle fit bingo with my horse in the spring and kept coming back to a Pro Rider. I've never had any back problems with any of my horses with my Pro Riders. I prefer the newer trees with the 7 inch gullet which they consider a full bar. But you can order whatever width you need. You can get one as cheap as $800 or upwards of $2000+ depending on your style and needs/wants.
I also would love to invest in a Meleta Brown someday when I save up enough to buy one brand new. They're hard to find used in my seat size. |

| I've been on a college budget but bought a Ran Ten saddle off of ebay used. They were made in Alabama by a guy who used to work with the guy who makes Lamb saddles? At least that's what I was told! I had had a Ran Ten before and loved the feel and when I saw it on ebay I had to buy it. I love this one so much better than the first one I had too because it's apparently the Martha Josey style he made. But I've been told, and believe it, that some were made cheap and others were not. The first one I had was made cheap but the one I have now is not. They're really not the top notch best out there, quality wise, but they're decent quality and very very comfy with a deep seat if you've been on a budget like me! They're kinda hard to find but if you find one for a good price they'd even be nice just to have as an extra. Someday I dream of riding in something really nice! I'd love to try a Shiloh or Tod Slone. Someday...lol.
ETA: Here's a picture of my saddle on a horse I take lessons on in his sale pictures and here's another picture of that kind of saddle but mine looks different and I didn't pay near this price for one. But mine was used! http://www.crestviewequine.com/product/RTBR15MJ

| Love my Meleeta Brown saddle, but right now the horse I am riding is ridden in a double j Lynn Mckenzie and even though I need a bigger seat, it keeps me where I need to be. |

| Are there any saddles out there where you can get the different rises in them like the Caldwells? I have rode in Caldwells only the last several years. I am not going to buy another one--and don't want to spend the PSC or Tami Semas price either....but I've gotten so used to that high rise everything else feels awful. |

Location: Georgia | I love the Performance saddle company saddles. They ride and fit just like a Caldwell. I have a 14" with a wide twist tree for sale. 8" gullet, high rise cantle. Email me for more info [email protected] |

Do you have any pictures? I have been looking into something like this, I started doing ranch rodeos too so I wanted something to do both in. |
