FLITASTIC - 2015-09-03 8:51 PM My good horse is one of those roll back types that runs super hard, doesn't rate much and rolls back in 1 move. In and out. Im a guy and once in a while he turns so hard he throws me forward on small patterns and I hook my pants over saddle horn. When he fires out of the turn my pants will rip the button off. Last November it happened , I heard my pants rip, but no big deal, kept hustling. After I started running home I felt a little more wins than usual. This time my pants and boxers ripped! Wide open ! I felt my junk touching Bare leather! Everyone got a show. But I got a check!
Oh Flit, I needed this chuckle today! I hope your "man-scaping" was on point! LOLOLOL TGIF!!!! Get the money if you go anywhere this weekend! 
Yea and with curost ,my horse is turning even harder. SO duct tape it is! |

Location: Kaufman, Texas | I was at the josey ranch at a barrel race, on my new horse, new hackamore, new saddle at my first entry on him. Also my mother telling everybody! I flung off at the first barrel but luckily landed on my feet. Mr josey caught my horse and said make you a run. I wanted to leave the arena and not make a run. I quickly found a saddle with high swells! |

You mean like when you haven't had your hat on in ages, you grab it to slap on and realize it needs to be reshaped and resized but in the emergency you grab a kotex pad and slap it in the brim real quick as extra padding only to have your hat come off but the pad stays taped to your forehead????
I have laughed so hard over these! I think this thread should be mandatory after each weekend so we don't miss ANY of y'all's shenanigans. . . . . |

Location: Kaufman, Texas | my friend was making a run and was leaning real bad. I could hear her yelling out by the stalls. I thought she was hurt. No, it was because her expensive minimizer bra was ripped from hanging on her horn. We both started laughing when we realized those puppies were on the loose! Could've gave her some black eyes haha |

Location: Heart of Texas | I was at a rodeo somewhere in south Texas on this big, yellow, PHG (Pea Hearted Gelding). He is one of the reasons I say I'll never ride another gelding, even though I have one now that is just as pea hearted. This big nasty pulled a reverse duck half way to the 3rd barrel. Who ducks the other direction half way to a barrel!!?? No one can prepare for that, and I could ride back then. This caused me to be darted off to the side, clinging for life as the big PHG laps the arena. I finally just let go and face planted into the dirt. He was like 16'2 and I'm 5'2.
He continues to lap the arena while several of us are chasing him. Finally, we catch him and he gets loose in the parking lot. He ran at least 10 more minutes before someone finally caught him out there.

Bad part is the photographer got a wonderful shot! (Of which i have burned all negatives of course!) So...I'll tell my friend's best story: She and her boyfriend were on their way back from the rodeo. They stopped for gas and the place was sketchy so she decided to just go pee in the shavings in the trailer. She thought he saw her go in there. Apparently...he thought she had gone inside the store. So once he finished getting gas...and being the gentleman he was, he proceeded to pull away from the pumps to be closer to the store to pick her up. As he drove away...the back door of the trailer swung open. There she was...pants at her ankles...squatting with her back to the door. Fully mooning a family in a minivan! In her haste to stand up and cover herself...she fell down... bare butt...right into a pile of horse manure. A rodeo experience she will never forget! Oh my gosh......I am sitting her laughing so hard. Poor girl, but dang that was funny.
I just spit my ice tea all over my laptop. |

A few years ago I had brought a colt to an outdoor arena to exhibition and run at a little jackpot. It just so happened that the next day they were having a homecoming rodeo at this same arena so they had started decorating it and had some calves and bulls in the pens lining the alley way. The colt that I brought was a notorious bucker, but had been on good behavior for the previous few weeks. On my second exhibition I came into the alley way and picked up a lope and about 3 strides into the arena that sucker broke in two and launched me. I still don't know if it was the tinsel, bulls, or him just being a prick. So I climbed back on him and finished my exhibitions, madder than a wet hen that he bucked me off in such a public setting. Once I got back to my trailer, I started inspecting myself for any damage and noticed that my right elbow had about a golf ball sized swelling on it, so I went to hop off and tie him up. I am quite well endowed up top, and somehow managed to hook not only my shirt but also my sports bra on the horn as I was dismounting, but didn't realize it until it was too late. My legs were dangling inches about the ground as I swung there on my saddle horn from my bra with the bottom half of my ta-ta's hanging out for everyone to see for what seemed like an eternity. Amazingly enough, the horse that had just bucked my a** off not 10 minutes before stood there cool as a cucumber as I fished my foot back into the stirrup and climbed back up to unhook myself. I was mortified about the whole ordeal so I quickly untacked and high tailed it out of there. I decided to just forfeit my run money and leave with what little dignity that I had left.
Wow... I never realized.... No wonder they are so hard to unhook with one hand... |

Location: Oklahoma | I was pole bending, after going through once the end pole was going down so I reach to set up and I grab it but couldnt let go Pole came out of base and I carried it back through the poles finally at the other end pole my hand finally dropped the pole! |

I have kinda a similar story that I can't believe I forgot about. Running home from barrels, and me being a dork forgot to tuck in my shirt. I'm down on this big mare's neck hustling out of third, and suddenly, I can't move. I had hooked the horn all the way up my shirt to my bra. So I (mentally freaking out) sit up real quick, and rip the whole front (bra included!) open as we are running home. Oh boy, did that gate guy get an eye full. LOL bad part was, I was only 16 at the time, so I can officially say I was a child stripper. Bahaha |

Haha this is the funniest thing I've seen all day! On the rare occasion I run barrels, my time is always embarassing enough. But this weekend I was at a good sized (for us anyway) shoot and after everyone was done running, EVERYONE was gathered outside the arena waiting for results. Well I decided to lunge my horse in that arena before I got on. He saw the timers and lost it. He was squealing the most high pitched, unmanly squeak ever uttered from a horse at them and with every lap broke in 2 kicking and bucking trying to kill them. I certainly hope nobody was paying attention to my big red idiot because he really was being a weenie. |

Location: Canada | We were at a rodeo and I was making a smoking run until my horse went down at third. His whole back end hit the dirt and launched me forward into my horn.
Well he popped back up and kept on running like nothing happened except now I'm hung up by my pants. When he launched me forward the extra "fabric" in front of my jeans (they were a bit loose) got hooked on the horn so I was hung up. I couldn't get loose so I just pushed back and kept on kicking.
I ripped the crotch clean out of my pants and the rodeo got a show. Worst part was I had a student running in the Junior Girls division afterwards that I had to lead in so I had to wait to leave the holding pen.
I knew all the girls there so it was quite a good laugh. Finally I was able to grab a jacket and tie it around my waist so at least I could walk back to the trailer with some dignity. |

Location: KS | My friend and I were at a local horse show way back when. We decided we were going to do rescue race. Didn't seem too hard. Oh boy were we wrong! I ran my horse towards her, stopped, let her hop on and started for home. For grip, she used her legs... So when I tried to shut my mare down, she still thought I was asking her to go! My friend then started falling off. Luckily my mare is some what trainined on verbal cue. I yelled whoa and at the last minute she tucked her a** up under her and slammed it in park. My friend decided to grab a hold of me on the way down! She managed to land on her feet as I was dangling with one foot in my stir up and grabbing onto my horn. I was laughing so I hard I couldn't lift myself up.. I had to wait for my friend to realize I wasn't getting up and needed a lift... It was all laughs and giggles until I realized everyone was watching.. I will never do a rescue race again!
