| I've been a customer of PHT forever. My daughters mare use to have a hamstring issue. Thanks to the new NagnaCu stifle wraps, that problem is in the past. PHT simply has superior products and is cutting edge in innovation. I know a lot of people like the BOT products. My understanding is BOT is a ceramic product. That means it creates heat. I personally would only want heat in specific situations and not necessarily for everyday use. JMHO |

I feel the same way about the BOT and heat. |

Location: Alabama | this is something i have done a lot of looking into.... i think you get a more apparent & quicker result from the BOT is why so many people like them. I have wanted to try the PHT stuff for that exact reason, i was worried about using the BOT products (Mainly the sheet) during the summer.... |

I don't agree. We have BOT wraps and MagnaCu wraps and I much prefer the MagnaCu. The BOT wraps are like super hot shipping boots, whereas the MagnaCu leaves the leg cool and pulls the swelling more effectively by increasing circulation. |

| BOT before exercise and for older arthritic horses it really helps to warm them up and have them moving more freely. Using them sparingly in the summer but winter is almost here and they will have them on more often.
PHT is great for trailer ride home but we don't do it before....it really relaxes and calms one down...sometimes a lil too much....for horses with pain, anxiety, or gate issues I could see using them before tho.
Have old tradition PHTs way back when they were white and buckled. Wanting to upgrade but just haven't yet. Anyone seen a huge benefit to the copper yet? Also, do the quick wraps stay on better now? Have old ones and they slide down....wish they had a more "wrap like design" like the BOT quick wraps...I'd b all over some cooling/magnet/quick wrap type boots for the trailer ride home. |

Location: Beggs, OK | The copper is antimicrobial and helps heal any skin abrasions they might have. During the heat of the summer, after unloading them from the trailer I saw that my horse that was wearing the PHT sheet was sweating under it...the horse wearing the MagnaCu sheet stayed cool. The one wearing the MagnaCu sheet only sweats under the magnets on his hip where he has been staying sore.
I use the MagnaCu tendon wraps with a standing bandage more than anything else in the barn. |

| If you are handy enough you can make your own magnetic blanket- there are many suppliers of neodymium magnets on the internet, just do a google search. I've used them just glued or taped to specific areas individually, and also glued into a piece of fabric for a browband or poll relief strip. www.apexmagnets.com is where I've gotten alot of mine- you can get 50 magnets with a pull force of almost 2 pounds for less than $10.00. I'm all about affordable and effective- not so much "fashion" either, lol. |

I've never had a problem with my quick wraps not staying on or moving? I use mine religiously. They also have a wrap called a Fast Wrap .
As far as the MagnaCu, I am LOVING the results, I posted pictures of my personal results on page 1 I believe. |

Wasn't trying to step on any body's feet. And I'm sorry if using the word "fashionable" did that to you. I did research the brands and what they use.. but unfortunately I can't afford those brands currently. So I purchased the Schneider one which for my mare works, thankfully. It's an option to consider for those looking.
I agree for the same reason you posted. Mine works on both my geldings as well. To each their own. Not sure I would buy the more expensive one even if I had the money. |

Those magnets aren't even close to being what the PHT ones are. That's like taking a watermelon, making key lime pie out of it and expecting it to taste like real key lime pie. Or saying a donkey is a Percheron. |

Location: MN | Thank you for all of the response! My horse gets sore mainly in his shoulders and rarely in his hind end. Im also leaning more toward the MagnaCu blanket and hood...Im guess im just still one of those skeptics that hopes to see results once I spend the money! Look and seem to be the best on the market and there must be a reason why the Pro's are using them!

That would be like putting gasoline in a diesel vehicle because it's all the same right? |

So you used the MagnaCu on yourself? I was also wondering if they were safe to use on humans too. |

YES!!!!! In the time I had it, it NEVER saw the horses. Yes, I got the size my boy needed, but it didn't leave the house. I would wrap myself in it watching tv or reading.... I would get all tingly and relaxed wearing. It was a noticable difference. I broke my femur and have broken both ankles, so I'm a mess and cold weather hurts me. |

Quality is not the same among suppliers. Strength is realitive. And types are used for certain areas of the body. AND we do not use Neodymium on the blankets If you choose to make your own, that is your wonderful right.
Neos absorb heat when in direct sun and can build up to very hot and have been know to blister horses. ( another brand uses Neos on blankets but not PHT) Copper also is not all created equal in purities |

Location: lexington KY | I have used both products, PHT blanket and BOT, still have both in my trailer. To all of you that have the MagnaCu Quick Wraps, what is the quality of the wrap? I have seen some for sale on FB and I am curious how well they are made.
