I bought one from them that was in stock. It is a Silver Series with a faux gator seat. The saddle is extremely light weight. So far it rides good but it doesn't fit down on any horse I've had it on. Plus the gator seat is rubbing off. It's an ok saddle but don't expect them to last. You get what you pay for. Mine was $970.

I have heard that about the new ones. Mine has a stingray seat and it has held up. It is the full QH bars and has fit everything I've put it on with using different thickness of saddle pads.

I know nothing about triple creek, my cousin has one and to me for quality it doesn't hold a candle to my Martin saddle.

But a question are you sure it is real stingray?

My cousin has a stingray seat, she paid only 1500 for the saddle, I have a friend who is a saddle maker who says the piece of stingray can be anywhere from 480-1000.

So my question for it to be real stingray how can the saddle be that cheap.

I know with fernanni boots the stingray is fake hence why the boots are cheap, but it looks and feels the same when new

yes, mine is the real stingray. I paid 1600 in 2009 for my saddle. It was before they offered the different tiers of packages. I agree their quality is not that of any higher end saddle, but when I bought mine it was what I was looking for. The biggest draw to the Triple Creek for me is the narrow twist on the tree. It sits much like a dressage saddle and coming from an english background, I like how it feels.

Lies! Lol... I *sometimes* make purses & just got a stingray hide... They are definitely WAY cheaper that that... Stingray hides are not very large to begin with, but obviously the bigger, the more expensive it will be. You can look at leather shops online & they are usually in the $50-$100 range. I got one on ebay for around $30. It's smaller, but you can tell it is great quality. If they said the stingray was $480-$1000, I say rip off. Martin Saddlery charges $208 for inlaid stingray options.

I also had a Triple Creek with a real stingray seat.

One of the biggest problems with most saddles today is that it's hard to get a really good quality of leather. The way a lot of leather is processed today turns it into cardboard.

I liked my Triple Creek and it rode great. The only reason I sold it is it doesn't fit my current horse and I had 5 saddles and the only saddle that I will never sell is my Caldwell and the Triple Creek sold first.

Triple Creek makes an affordable saddle that has a good tree in it. Of course you can't compare a $1,000. saddle to one that cost $3,000. LOL

I ordered one a year and a half. I gave a very, very detailed description of what I wanted and everything in it was wrong. The color, the seat, border, missing something I specifically asked for, and took 8 weeks longer than quoted to get it.

This'll be my first TC, so we'll see how i like it.

I didn't have any problem whatsoever getting ahold of someone there, and getting my questions asnwers, ordering, etc.  Lynn replied to my emails pretty much right away.

Figured I'd update my original post...I got mine on Wednesday.  I've ridden in it twice, and I love it!!!  I'd never seen one in person before and I'm very pleased.  Its exactly what I ordered, and rides exactly how I had hoped.  Its definiely a keeper!

I'd post pictures, but can't from my work computer...sorry.

I like my saddle don't get me wrong. I use a thicker pad with it and It seems to do better. Mine also has FQHB. I use this saddle on colts rather than my nicer saddles. So that's why I bought the silver series. I love the way it rides!!!

I bought one in '07 and another in '12. Regardless of the 2 different trees I had, they still fit the horses the same. Only the gullet width had any difference. I still have the older one. It wasn't as fancy, but I liked it better and still use it here and there. For the money on both, they were wonderful saddles. About $1200 for the 1st and $1650 for the fancier new one. I saved up and bought a used, barely ridden in Meleta Brown saddle for $1650 and it fits nearly everything and is night and day a nicer saddle. But new that thing would have cost a lot more. So for the price, they are nice saddles.
