Still waiting for some good rains, just light rain here. Β

The remnants of Patricia will be coming at you from the WSW tomorrow afternoon. (assuming you're still in Seguin)

They are predicting 16+ inches for us near Houston.
But.... They also gave us, at some point, a 100% chance of rain this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We didn't get any until Friday morning.
We love watching the ever changing forecast that is never right.

Isn't that the truth. I never take the weather forecast seriously. If I did I would have missed a lot of barrel races..LOL

I'm West of Ft. Worth and we've had a TON of rain.... Had to crawl under our shed last night and rescue 9 pups that were born in the hollowed out spot underneath...

Speaking of, anyone needs pups? I'll make you a great deal!! You take all 9 puppies for a small fee and I'll throw in two feral cats, an 8 pound guinea pig, two dissappearing milk goats, and a 10 pound bunny rabbit named Otter for FREE!!!

No takers? Didn't think so.....

What kind of puppies?

Didn't start raining south of Houston until late yesterday.. not sure how much but its sure wet.. has been wetter this year. Its rained here every month.. and almost every week for the last year.. No drought here.. I'm tired of being wet.. Looks to be clearing out now.. just thankful Patricia didn't skip across and reform in the gulf!

Started early Friday morning for us in East Texas, and so far we have gotten 16.5 inches.  Water, water everywhere.  I think they can lift the burn ban now.

Wondering about updated road conditions....I'm in Louisiana wanting to head back to Kansas, but will have to go thru Houston.  Does anyone know if Houston and/or Corsicana are passable areas still / yet?

Here is a site with driving conditions in Tx. That should give you an idea.

We have had about 6 inches west of Houston. Not the 16 as predicted. Thank goodness.

With all that rain, what she needs is a 10 pound otter named Bunny.
