TrackinBubba - 2015-10-26 12:41 PM  I have to brag. I've been entering my 4yo a few times, trying to get him seasoned and it has been less than fun. He's been a CHALLENGE for me for sure. He can get panicky if you take a solid hold of his face so it's a fine line to walk when he needs direction without hitting the panic button and I have been known to get a bit handsy during a run. It all came together Sunday and I actually rode my horse correctly. He was a tenth too fast for the 4D in a scary pen with a really short score and lots of outside distractions.

I am over the moon.

Hey tdove - Crackers R Vibrant!
what a cool horse. I am fixing to get back on my little red dun. I really like your horses style! If you dont mind me asking where that race was...location and arena...the dirt is different than around here.
Thanks! I am completely in love with my little dun pony. Super super broke and worky. All he wants to do is work for a living. He's actually a product of tdove's program by a stroke of coincidence.

That was at Johnny Butler's in Jennings, FL, a stone's throw from the Georgia line.

Thank you for sharing; that is great! He looked very nice and once you add speed, he seems like he has the ability. I thought you rode very well and are a good fit for him.

PS: I'm making more every year ;)

This filly is the 2015 out of your horse's mother

Our little mare that we have high hopes for had her worst run ever, going to give her a few months off for her feet to heal up. Then our gelding had a decent but slow pattern and clocked 1.5 seconds off, he didnt try to kill my daughter so all is well!

Lopin' Leopard - 2015-10-26 1:35 PM I didn't run this weekend but my daughter's did.  My oldest ran both Saturday and Sunday.  Both days she was just out of the money in 2D Open and 1D youth.  So she didn't bring home any money but is proving she can be competative with the big girls. These were her 2nd and 3rd races running with adults. Not sure about Saturday but Sunday's run was good enough for 17th out of 120 runs.  My youngest joined us on Sunday and her big sister ran her through the pattern in pee wees.  Husband was hunting all weekend so made for a fun weekend with our girls.

Here is the link to her Saturday run: http://youtu.be/0XBbpZ6GTNo

Edited to add her Sunday run: http://youtu.be/V8Qx2m6TXR8

Shes a hand mom!!!  where was this at?

I had a great run on my scary horse and my good horse had a meltdown.    Tons of videos on my fb page if anyone wants to watch.  Some of them are for sale too.  Go ahead and laugh but just remember I am old

Well thank you! When I have my act together, he rewards me and makes it worth it. Though some days he can make me feel like I need to go back to the pony you can ride for a quarter outside Walmarts and start over.

OMG I am a sucker for a bay. I've always wanted one and somehow I ended up with a pasture full of various colors of red.

Nice run Lopin and Gerona (and people I missed mentioning!)!
I fell between the 3D/4D crack with my almost 5yo gelding this weekend. Need to figure out how to get him to run between 1 and 2, but also need to ride him more and get him fit.
