1DSoon - 2016-01-22 1:30 PM I stumbled accross a stallion the other day that would be a great cross.
Osceola something,,,,,,,,,,Warrior maybe.
First Down Warrior by Osceola Warrior is my stallion... Warrior is the only stallion by Osceola Warrior...... (and just so happens to be a 100% money producer from a small crop)I agree with the comment on breeding to outside for profit.... yet, if i were to bred a daughter of Sun Frost (which I will say, I steer clear from anything not running lines ) I would like to see a cross of Sun Frost on an old lined Leo, typey, bred horse.........
If she is wanting speed to compete against some of the top speed horses of today she will have to go modern race bred on Sun Frost and not old racing lines. But I have no clue what the rest of the pedigree is on the mare. |

I have always wanted to go Ivory James but have been too chicken to do it.
Firewaterontherocks
Epic Leader
The Mulberry Canyon Moon sons sure seem to be nice and have good people backing them.
I agree
And call me a weirdo but if I owned a daughter of sun frost, I would love to cross her on a blue valentine stud. I'm a huge blue valentine fan. |

And why is he the only stud by Osceola Warrior? How many in the crop and how much money won? Racing or barrels? If racing what kind of races were they in and how many wins? |

Location: Mississsippi | My mare is out of Vaneagles Chick (AAA) is a full sister to NFR qualifier Vaneagles Little Dude.
Her sire is Chick Check (AAA) & his sire is Easy Jet (AAAT)
And Yes, I would hope to have something that could compete with the horses of today. She is a half sister to Frenchman's Guy, PC Frenchmans Hayday, etc. |

I didn't mean to infer Sun Frost had to be on race bred to have speed. Not what I meant at all. I still don't know what the mare is bred like. |

| Statistics say Sun Frost crossed on Caseys LadyLove or Laughing Boy is lightning in a bottle. Not sure how you'd find that today with any close up lines but you did say you want to double up which may be the only way.
Another option would be the Streakin Boon Dox stallion. The ASOF are lighting it up right now but the Boon Dox John on the bottom is a big time proven cross on the Sun Frost lines. |
