Fancy Lass - 2016-03-03 1:36 PM I'm in this market for a new horse ... There are several I like that are bleeders .. I have no personal experience with them . Are they something you'd purchase or steer clear of ? These horses do run on lasix .
I have a bleeder
If they are a controlled bleeder with a working regiment then absolutely. Every horse has some type of issue - you just have to have something you can manage...

There are many, MANY horses for sale out there. Why would you buy one you KNOW has a very serious issue?? Most have some kind of issue, but I'd look for one that was NOT a known bleeder. I've known too many people who had bleeders...some were great horses, but they required a ton of maintenace. Why pay money to have that problem?? I say NO. Oh, and good luck...
