Person's name and phone number
What else would be helpful?
Truck and trailer info. Maybe so far as to give license plate number but at least basic info. |

Location: Texas | I wonder this often. I go by myself 99% of the time. I know people there but they do not have my parents number. I do not keep my phone in my pocket. I have wondered before how long it would take someone to track me down. Mom knows when I go get on my horse and as soon as I get back to the trailer, but it is uncommon for her to worry, I am sure she would after a while but not real quick. |

| I have been single and traveling by myself since I was 22, my closest family member is 5000 miles away in Alaska and so if anything happened to me nobody would miss me for days!
I think this is a brilliant idea! |

| I think that is a great idea and as a producer I will have it on our next show entry form. That way we would automatically know in the event of an emergency that we could always pull your entry form for a contact. In your case you are traveling alone in sometimes a strange location but there are always alot of barrel racers that travel alone and as a producer we would have no way to locate an emergency contact number without something on the entry form. GREAT SUGGESTION!!!!!!!!!

Location: CTX | I think this is a great idea to add this to the entry forms.. Something else you can do is roadid. It was designed by cyclists, but cna be used by anyone. I got one for my diabetic nephew, there are 2 versions. 1 just has the information on it you want on it (like allergies or other medical problems that would be good to know for first responders). 1 is interactive and has all your info on a website that first responders can access. look up roadid.com als, they have different types of bracelets. I am thinking about getting myself one. Just because I ride alone at home a lot, and go to races by myself. I usually know people there, but they don't know my medical history. |

| Everyone should have an ICE number in their phone. How many of you do? |

The Iphone has an option named "medical ID". You can put all your medical stuff in there, and also the spouses number. Anybody can get to it through the emeregency call screen. No need for a password. Just go as if you will make an emeergency phonecall and in the left bottom corner it says medical ID. I have to admit I don't have an ICE number in there, but I will be adding that today. |

Location: Wisconsin | I do- not sure many people would think to look for that contact. Something else to think of, so many people lock their phones. So even if they do have ICE contact its useless- as it would be useless in any other emergency situation. |

Well, lots of people do, but what if they don't' have their phone in their back pocket when they run? I certainly don't. And, what if producers can't get into their vehicle to get their phone? I do have mine though with the ICE on it.
I think one step further would be to provice in the least make/model of truck. And if you have it yoru license plate. |
