Location: Oklahoma & Texas | I second the silver sulfadiazine..it works..it's not harsh and protects the skin and soothes it as well as keeps germs and bacteria out..they use it on burn patients ...you can get it online or at pharmacy store |

Location: North Dakota | Hi guys! Diva is doing wonderful!!! I did pick up some SSD cream for her. It seems to be helping keep the infection clear. Looks like I'm starting to deal with proud flesh at this point though.. I plan on using the SSD cream until all the skin falls off and looks to start healing again, and then switch over to honey to keep the scarring limited. You guys are amazing prayer warriors and we SO appreciate it! I can't believe that little Diva is still here with us! Trying to post pictures and a link to a video, but I'm not having much luck! SOON! Thanks friends!
And for who ever was wondering about the "foal squeeze" please look up "Madagan foal squeeze" on youtube. Looks like a gimmick, but I can vouch for it! |

She's figured out she can kick.. and strike.. We've raised a demon.
She's really hating people these days and I can't say I blame her with all that she's been through. She's found her spark and I think it's here to stay!!
We went back to the vet this morning for a follow up. Ran some more blood work to make sure everything is where it should be. My wonderful vet said that everything looks REALLY good, but there is still some infection showing up in the blood work. She's thinking it's due to the blow out on her leg. And that's finally starting to look better instead of worse.
We're just happy she's still here with us, strong and very much alive. She's a blessing and a miracle. Thank you, EVERYONE! You guys are amazing prayer warriors and we are so amazingly thankful for each and every one of you!!!
