As a horseowner/barrel racer, I wanted to keep the price affordable to treat more horses, as I feel gastric ulcers are undertreated due to the cost. How can this be an accredited establishment if it is still compounding?
FDA legal compounded drugs have to be made from FDA approved drugs that have NADA or ANADA numbers.
Legal compounding is taking 2 or more FDA approved drugs and mixing them to create a compounded drug. See FDA approved guidelines for compounding.
If your Omeprazole suspension is not made from Gastrogard it is not a legal compounded drug. You are missing one import ingredient in your suspension. You are not listing the FDA approved drug used to make your suspension. All your other stuff listed is fine and dandy but all those are good things working towards an FDA approval.

Location: Lost in the corn of Iowa. | Get the small tubes, not the huge multi dose tubes. I've always had better results with the smaller tubes. Plus the big multi dose tube the paste seemed really thick and hard to squeeze out. I've used it off and on for a couple years. And on the smaller tubes I just upped the dosage to 1/3 of the tube and saw equivalent results as I did with name brand stuff. So the small tube gave me 3 doses per tube. |
