My farrier just told me yesterday he doesn't think its thrush that it is an infection and wants me to put Lysol on it. I had never heard of that but am definitely willing to give anything a shot at this point!

Hog Tie My Mojo Posts: 4847 Location: Opelousas, LA	Thrush Buster has never worked at all for me, use the mastitis medicine in a syringe or mix neosporin and athletes foot cream half and half and use a syringe to squirt it down in that crack. IMO, the breakover still needs to be back a little, you can drag the shoe back without having to file all the toe wall off.

He needs to open the back of the shoe up so it isn't sitting on the frog. The trim does look better than your original pictures.
