That's because they were high enough to go over the rolls. lol I wish I had the same wasteline I had then. I could wear anything now if I did, but unfortunately I do not. haha |

| ~smc~ - 2016-06-11 8:37 AM I had to share...hope it made y'all chuckle and fondly recall those glory days! I held a pair up (no way I even attempted to try them on!) And was baffled. How was my waist so stinking small! The proportions of those jeans is terrifying!! And to think...I thought I sure was hot stuff! Rockin them with my favorite pair of Justin lace ups....man, I was cool!!! But seriously...someone should really take these off my hands!!
I could't probably pull mine up over my calves. LOL The waiste line of pants now do not hit me in the same spot as those did. |

| galla - 2016-06-10 9:55 PM I still have all mine as well. I have every color and pattern known to man, and plether Wranglers, silver lakes and western ethnic lol. I figure if I hold on long enough they will be worth a fortune someday to someone:) I couldn't fit 1 leg in the waist size I used to be..
I never did get the plether jeans! I wanted to, but I thought I would likely sweat to death in them. I decided against it. I kept my dry clean starched and creased too. |

| ah yes, I remember those types.... the ones I can remember are turquoise rockies, forest green, oh and that grape purple pair , bright red wranglers, and ah the acid wash pairs.... oh and those silver lakes that had one half side of the jeans in railroad stripes and the other in light denim haha wow the bareback ones lmao.... no thanks, I love my pockets . Where would I put my iphone. I don't wear bling jeans that are in style now but the low rise is so much more comfortable. I don't care if my muffin top is hanging over anymore. I had a baby so its here for good lol! |

Location: north dakota | I had the Rockies jeans and lace up Justin boots. The colors off hand I remember having are green, yellow, red and some kinda purple stripped ones. For whatever reason my ex has them and tried to get our daughter to wear them but she really wasn't into the style. |

You babies have no idea the greatness you missed. No one needed a bra because our pants did the job, even if you had a big round butt these pants could make it look long and flat, and we were COLORFULLY beautimous. |

Well the good news is we really rocked the rockies but the bad news is it was before the cellphone craze so we don't have thousands of selfies proving that we rocked them lol! |

Location: Oklahoma City OK | I've never been one to worry too much about "current style"...I wear what I think I look good in and what is comfortable to me. Plus, I'm also very frugal and I have lived long enough to know that everything recycles and comes back in style...someday. I am holding on to many pairs of Rockies with those thoughts in mind. And if you really compare flattering jeans, most bodies are much more attractive in Rockies than in the low riders being marketed today. I sure hate the "do lap" that hangs over the waist band of low riders...wouldn't happen in Rockies! |

Location: Arkansas | I still have a couple of pair of Lawman in the top of the closet. Not colored ones though. I never could really wear them, even when I was much thinner because I am really short waisted. I never had that really skinny waist so they never fit right. |
