I have two Corriente saddles and I love them. Price range, depending on style is 500-800? Great quality and so far has fit all my horses.

I have had the best luck with Pro Rider saddles, the standard gullet has fit a wide number of horses and the 7" has fit my wider ones as well, the bars have all laid on my horses backs correctly and I've not had much problems with back soreness. They're decently priced and well made.

For an inexpensive saddle I would go with the Corriente. Fits a wide variety of horses and hold their value. I see them for sale for more than you can buy a new one for. Attractive saddles in the $400-600 range.

Thank you guys! I'm really needing a different one. I'd like to have a deepish seat and want it padded too. A hard seat hurts my back!
