Very rarely do I buy horses but when I do they have all been on someone else's program where they were fed twice daily. As soon as I ge them they eat every last morsal of forage. I just keep grass hay in front of them. It doesn't take long for them to realize that with me they will always have hay so most graze a little here and there and it takes all day for them to clean up what they have. It reactivates that grazing instinct.

I'm a Cur-OST fan as well. My horse was very, very sick despite having treated him every which way possible for about 4 months. These pictures are 30 days apart. The only changes from the first picture to the second picture are we took him off all medications and started the Cur-OST products based on Dr. Schell's suggestions. New horse in 30 days and went from a horse we were considering euthanizing to a horse I was back to running once I got him fit.

He's adorable. Look at that hip!
Thank you. He's a turd, but he's my turd and i'm sure happy he's still here annoying me every day! This is at 6 months on the program. I changed to whole oats, BOSS, and alfalfa at about day 45 so as to clean up the diet completely and remove any contributors to inflammation and he just bloomed again. I only feed a half scoop of whole oats with a cup of BOSS once a day, alfalfa twice a day. It's amazing that when the gut utilizes everything the horse consumes how well the do on so much less!
