Hello everyone,
We have looked over this thread and do want to help clear up some confusion. Our Company has not been sold to anyone, none of our core feeds such as Complete, Senior, Low Starch, Lite, 30% Ration Balancer etc have been discontinued. As of the last few months, we have made some manufacturing and distribution changes that effect various regions of the US. We have discontinued our relationship with Cargill and have had various mills take over manufacturing and distribution for us. We are working to improve our distribution network by adding dealers across the country. During this process we may lose some dealers or have feed become available once the dealer is set-up to work with our new distrubitor. This confusion may have folks telling you we are discontinued at the store you visit. Please contact us if you are trying to find our feed and we will help you out. Call us at 800-451-9916, email us at [email protected] with your questions. Thank you.

Wish you would have done this once you were having trouble with Cargill. I got tired of giving your feed one more chance and I'm rather gun shy at this point. |

So who's milling it out here? I also got tired of the CA feed being "iffy." |

| RodeoCowgirl4u- For California locations, the manufacturer is OH Kruse. If you are around OR/WA- feed is coming from OH Kruse also.
Texas feed is made by Bluebonnet and not entirely sure how far out they distribute. Getting the lot # off bags can help determine the manufacturer for sure in anyone's particular area.

If this is the case I'm going back to feeding triple crown because local feed store keeps it all in stock. |

Gosh i absolutely LOVED triple crown feeds. Especially the senior. It was the absolute best but when nutrena started milling for them, the mills on west coast just were not as good as when it was milled by TC themselves. The quality and consistency went way way down and the new mills are not ionoohore free. But I sure loved it !!!
they changed back to the mill that used to mill it on the west coast just an fyi
You were absolutely CORRECT!!!! I went and picked up 4 bags of FRESH TC Senior this afternoon and sure enough, it has a NEW TAG, Not Nutrena and from a totally different mill than before. Popped open a bag and the feed is once again BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!! I could not be happier. My letter writing must have helped!
I'm so happy they changed lol... we have good feed but I love tc |

I think thats great that Bluebonnet is milling for TC, Bluebonnet is about the only name I trust in milling safe feeds. I got to go pick up feed today and I will ask about the TC being milled there if I can remember, the lady there at the store is so knowlegeable about the mill. |

Ok I had looked into TC last year but never bought any bc I saw Cargill was mixing it.
I'm interested again since I've been thinking of adding a grain to my hard keeper's diet.
He is on 25/7 pasture with decent grass. They're able to graze all day.
And we feed nice, quality alfalfa 2x a day. We don't weigh it, but we do measure it by filling tubs. Every horse is fat except him, and we give him the most hay. He looks "good", but I'm not satisfied lol. He's just a big lanky built horse and I was thinking of adding a concentrate just to give him a calorie boost. I would probably only start at a 1/2 serving since he does get the alfalfa.
Which mix would y'all recommend? Complete or senior?? Something else? Thanks!!! :) |

If California production is OH Kruse, that is Western Milling in Visalia CA. Is that where Triple Crown is produced now? |

I no longer trust any of the feed mills and is why I will never feed processed feeds agains. My horse is doing great without them and I don't have to worry what was mixed before the bag of feed I'm feeding. |

| I stopped feeding it last year after having trouble with the quality of the feed we were getting. I had been feeding it since 1997 when we went to race in Iowa I always loved it. I am in Montana and it is not milled in a clean mill as far as I have been told so I will not chance it. |

Location: Willows, CA | Western Milling had a medicated feed recall last year for horse feed that they made. They may make Triple Crown in a different plant now, I don't know. The Western Milling plant is OH Kruse, and as far as I know, it has never been Ionophore free. A call to them may clear that up. |

Your feed store must not sell it any longer. They aren't going anywhere any time soon. Bluebonnet is now taking over milling Triple Crown as I understood my friend. Cargill is who I believe used to do it. A good friend of mine works for Blue Bonnet and told me about it a couple months ago.
Good info to know! |

I would love to get an answer on this but have been unable to so far. I love the Triple Crown 30 but I won't risk a feed processed in a facility that is not guaranteed ionophore free. |
