Don't do it. It will cost you big bucks when things go in the crapper, and believe me they will. We had one and it nickle and dimed us. We love Fords so we traded off for the 6.7 F-350. Now that one I love!!

6.0's engines can be built/modified to be a very fast truck. I have many friends who build them for track trucks. However, they are not in it for the long haul. They will break down faster than the 7.3L.
I would suggest looking into a 7.3 if you are looking at a Ford. 7.3's are literally indestructable. You can never change the oil on time, rag on them, and still drive them for literally ever. If you blow up a 7.3 you did it way wrong.
I own many 7.3's and my dad owns the new 6.7. I will never own a 6.0. Way too many problems.
