| Honestly, when Obama was up for election eight years ago, all the Chicken Littles were running around talking about America ending.
Well, my life hasn't really changed a whole lot, except maybe got more expensive. My taxes took a 3% hike, I lost my company health insurance and went to private health insurance.
I can see the most important thing that might affect me is the national debt and a new set of court judges could indirectly change something for our laws on the ground.
I despise Clinton. Trump makes me nervous. I'm voting Republican because I think the Dems will just keep adding to the national debt, but not because I think my daily life will truly be affected.
I'd love to wake up after Election Day and find out Trump is in and Hillary fled the country to avoid arrest. |

Location: Peg-Leg Julia Grimm | I don't even have to think twice about who I want in our White House. Have you read the Bill of Rights and the Constitution of the United States???? All gone with Killary. GONE! We will be unable to wipe our asses without government permits. The below is a copy and paste. My comment is this. How could ANYONE vote for her?
I guess some people need another fact check. What I’m about to tell you are only the facts – historical facts, not rumors, not hearsay just plain undeniable facts.
(This is only a small percentage of a much longer list)
Of the two candidates running for president:
Only Hillary Clinton was caught lying to congress.
Only Hillary Clinton was fired from a job for being unethical.
Only Hillary Clinton ordered the deletion of over 30 thousand emails after she was ordered to hand the server containing them over to the Feds.
Only Hillary Clinton got the rapist of a teenage girl off on rape charges and then laughed about it during an interview.
Only Hillary Clinton lied to the American people about Benghazi.
Only Hillary Clinton lied to the American people about her emails.
Only Hillary Clinton lied about being under sniper fire after landing in Bosnia.
Only Hillary Clinton lied about actually lying to the American people.
Only Hillary Clinton was involved in “Cash Cow “
Only Hillary Clinton nationally belittled her husband’s sexual harassment (and rape) accusers.
Only Hillary Clinton is a career politician.
Only Hillary Clinton will not release her speeches to Goldman Sachs and other banks.
Only Hillary Clinton is tied to Monsanto.
Only Hillary Clinton was labeled “Extremely careless “about national security by the FBI.
Only Hillary Clinton said she will raise taxes on the middle class. Surprising right? Watch the speech.
Only Hillary Clinton benefited from the DNC rigging an election. Bernie never had a chance.
Only Hillary Clinton had to return stolen items from the White House.
Only Hillary Clinton said the Benghazi victim’s parents were lying.
Only Hillary Clinton wants you to vote for her based on her gender.
Only Hillary Clinton has been investigated by the FBI and found to have put national security at risk.
Only Hillary Clinton made congress and others spend millions and millions of tax dollars having hearings and investigating her to find that she lied, that would not have been spent if she would have simply told the truth in the first place! Fact – all facts!
Only Hillary Clinton regularly cussed out and belittled her Secret Service detail.
But you are going to vote for her because…. you don’t like Donald Trump? That is insane! |

Good question. ^^^
I'm a woman in my 60's. I've worked for women. I hated it. Backstabbing *****es; most of them. I could care less if a woman is EVER elected president. I want the most qualified person to run the country. Chances are it won't ever be a woman. |

| I am not a political person and although I try and be informed, it is so hard to find unbiased information.
My two cents, Hillary seems rehearsed and she has experience but has done very little in her years in politics. Trump is a jerk with some balls... Although I like his attitude in ways (I tend to be bold), I am afraid his arrogance might interfere.
I know I will get flamed but I don't even want to vote. I don't feel good about voting for either party. And as mad as that makes a lot of people, I know I am not the only one feeling that way. |

I still like Ben Carson - I'm surprised that he didn't make it farther. Trump at least hasn't killed anyone, or sold anyone down the river. The other problem is that we will lose any credibility with the middle eastern countries with a woman at the helm. They have no value/use for women as a general rule, and will not respect her. Trump .... well? Heck I don't know?? but I'd rather him be the president verses her..... she's a viper to the core - Evil personified.
Ben Carson misstepped, the media crucified him, decided he was done, and proceeded to ignore him. And because he didn't fight back dirty to get himself back in, some decided he lacked backbone. My husband and I voted for him in the primary even though we knew he wouldn't win. |

I have to agree. The refugees scare the heck out of me. They do things that are absolutely horrible but it is accepted in their culture as the norm. A man from Israel that my husband works with said that if a woman goes into a store and has a tank top or shorts on they believe that it is ok for them to rape her. So what happens when they come over to our country and are around your daughter? They are still going to believe those things are ok because that is what they have been taught to believe.
Wow. This is the most blatantly racist thing I've read in a while. |

Not racist. Bigoted against a religion, nothing to do with race. And may I add, bigotry in this instance does have justification? Not saying all Muslims are bad, but their culture and beliefs are very very different (and ugly) in regards to women. |

Racist? I think you are confusing Religion with Race = two different things. Study the Koran and the culture of Islam, if you have more than three brain cells to rub together it will scare you. Islam is not peaceful they are a religion of hate. Women are worse than dogs in their religion. |

Just because they move somewhere doesn't mean they won't treat their women like dirt. Does it mean they'll treat American's like dirt....Who really knows? I mean, there have been multiple Islamic terrorist threats and actions (Miami, San Bernadino, etc.) so who's to say if a whole lot of them come over here they won't join together? Maybe they'll all be good little democratic sheep and do exactly as our govt. says. Maybe not. There ARE Good muslim people. But that doesn't mean they all are. Just like any race.
I'm voting for Trump. Killary scares me to death. I can't handle our country getting any worse.

Yes it tough when we are dealing with drastically different ends of the spectrum. It's important to recognize that not all people from the ME think this way. The hard core conservatives do unfortunately and their children are educated in a manner that promotes this line of thinking. The younger generation is balking at this way of thinking now and it has created backlash in the ME. That is why places like Saudi Arabia and Iran are becoming so oppressive. They know they are starting to lose their foothold on the younger generation. |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | Are any of y'all familiar with some of the regulatory laws that have been passed in liberal California this year, specifically the ones that affect agriculture? There is a real chance that production Ag will cease to exist there in the future in any meaningful form, with the way things are going. They are sending a clear message that Ag isn't welcome in their backyard. As goes California, so goes the country if we don't switch directions. The EPA has already been up our butts with WOTUS and other ridiculous things, and too many of our lawmakers aren't looking out for domestic producers in regard to trade deals. Rural life as we know it can't exist without Ag. That includes the horse industry. |

Can you explain some of these laws? I am not familiar with them. I do know California has a water usage issue but that is about all I know. Thinking ahead, there will be big changes in agriculture in the future as a whole. Probably not a terrible thing. Change is not always a bad thing. |

Dairymen must decrease the amount of methane produced by 40% by the year 2030. Oddly, the amount of methane in the atmosphere has not increased since the 1990s, it has a short life span once released. Rice patties are the biggest culprits for the production and release of methane but California has been doing everything it can to kill the dairy industry for a long time.
Farms and ranches are now required to pay overtime to their employees. The seasonal employee will STARVE. During hay season here the farm hands may put in 70 hour work weeks but come winter time they are lucky to get in 20 hours. They are paid a straight time by the hour regardless of the hours they work. Basically, the over worked hours in the summer are balanced by the under worked hours in the winter. The farm hands save their summer time wages for the low times during the winter. Now they will not be able to do much saving at all. Salary is not an option either. I don't know if it is federal or state law but an employee has to make a minimum of $70K a year to be put on salary. Crews will be rotated every 8 hours. Some of the farm workers here do alfalfa in the day time and during potato season, plant and harvest potatoes at night. There will be no more of that. I have not talked to a single farm worker who was in support of the new overtime law. They knew and understood the ramifications of it and how it would effect their paycheck.
The whole state has been asked to cut water usage by 23%. Now there is talk about the central valley regulating farm wells and cutting the amount even more of run off farmers are allotted for irrigation. They are already working on a minimum. So many fields have gone fallow. Orchards are drying up. In the mean time, the inner city and suburban areas are worried about their lawns.

It's federal and the limit is around $54,000 to be salary. My husbands employers bumped him up to $55,000 last year because of this law. The rest of the stuff I do not know anything about so thank you responding:) |
