That's what this bullsh!t is all about. So kissing is now assault? Give me a break. I am pretty sure I can come up with a hel! of a lot more women who could say I "assaulted" them, 30-35 years ago, using this new bullsh!t definition.

I hope by "without permission" you simply mean that they verbally did not say that you could kiss them, but consent to touch them was implied and understood.

I don't care about politics. I think its stupid that real issues are avoided by talking about stuff like this by both sides.

BUT sexual assault isn't something to joke about, ever. Think about your closest friends and even family.... statistics tell us that someone you know has been either raped and/or sexually assaulted, I assure you they don't take this topic lightly.

Agreed. If someone did to me what OP stated he had done to other women he would have found himself rounding up bail money. Sounds like OP has boundary issues and a complete lack of respect for others.

So a guy and a girl go out on a date. He likes her and he thinks she likes him. He brings he home, walks her to her door, and then there's this nervous moment when he want's to kiss her goodnight......so he just throws caution to the wind and kisses her good night on the lips.

That's "assault" these days, I guess. I'm just saying I'm glad it wasn't back then. That's all I'm saying.

I have not watched any of the debates as the press is so one sided that it isn't even valid. I will not vote for any polition that will not  support our military people. I don't care what party you are from. Without them you would not have a country to even have an election.

I really hope this woman IS lying.....

I couldn't imagine being assaulted and then having strangers come up with "common sense theories" about how I was too unattractive, so I'm probably making it all up.

And yes, because married men never cheat or attempt to cheat on their wives with what is socially accepted as less attractive women.

I was thinking the same thing.....

I consider myself very lucky to have never been assaulted or bothered by anyone. For years, I wondered how I got so lucky.

I'm so thankful to be ugly.

MObrlrcr - 2016-10-13 3:03 PM I am just curious as to how much all of these women were paid to all of the sudden come out of the woodwork.....

I bet they were paid too, the dems dont play nice so going to stir the pot as much as possible, with all the lies Hillary tells I bet these women are following in her footsteps.

Bear,

Most of the time a simple kiss is far from assault. The scenario you explain, leaning in for a kiss while on a date, is not forceful and not assault. Do you need verbal consent to kiss a woman? Of course not. You just can't physically force her.

I'm sure you are a good man, so it's hard for you to understand that there are both men and women out there who think they can just take whatever they want sexually from the opposite sex. Its hard to grasp because it's something you nor I would ever do. They exist and they are a problem. It shouldn't be a topic of a joke. It shouldn't be taken lightly.

My point of all of this is to express my amusement at how people allow the media narrative to mold their way of thinking, through the use of emotionally charged words and expressions. I saw the one lady claim that Trump "violated" her be kissing her on the lips. OK, that doesn't surprise me, and maybe it's sloppy or tacky, but now all of a sudden people are morphing an awkward unwanted kiss on the lips into an "assault". If I were a woman who has really been assaulted, I would be insulted. This falls into the same category as this popular phrase, "my personal space was violated", in describing someone who gets too close to you. Before people get all bent out of shape over this, yes, I understand that people sometimes get too close for comfort. Maybe I'm just an old fart, but I am amused at how society has changed over the years:

- Back in the day, when a person scraped their knee, they washed it, maybe put on a little mercurochrome, and maybe a band aid. In a day a scab formed and that gradually disappeared. Nowadays people have to apply all sorts of goops and salves and creams.....after a $1200 visit to the ER, of course.
-Nowadays, more and more people have to carry their own bottle of "hand sanitizer" and they feel they have to slather it on everytime they touch anything outside their bodies.....door knobs, counter tops, grocery carts, you name it. You see these everywhere....grocery stores, checkout counters, malls, even barns. It's amazing that some of us have managed to survive without them.
- Nowadays, everyone has to have their own personal container of water. Nobody just goes to a water fountain or grabs a glass of tap water. They have to buy their own $2 bottle of personalized water, even though it probably came out of a tap somewhere, and in some cases is probably less pure than their own water faucet.
-Everyone has to wear a dam helmet for just about everything. Yes, sometimes they are a good idea, but I just think it's gotten ridiculous.
Pretty soon people will be doing just about everything while wearing a helmet......including dating.

So now we have a new fad, or popular phrase for those uninvited or awkward kisses: "assault".

I sat on a plane yesterday next to some guy with bad gas. He farted for over two hours, and that was certainly an unpleasant invasion of my personal space. I can't wait for the day when I can have him arrested and charged for making me feel uncomfortable.
Sound ridiculous? Believe me, it's coming.

Here we are facing an election that could be the most consequential in history.....the world is on fire, cities are exploding, genocide is rampant, and we are even witnessing real threats of nuclear war.
Our country is plunging toward an irretrievable abyss because of national debt. Our healthcare is in a shambles and people can't get a decent paying job.

And what are we consumed with? A horny rich 35 year old man's unwanted kisses. We are screwed.

I was victimized as a child who had no say.....and could not go to my parents because they would have not believed me, I was already accused of trying to get attention.

I was nearly raped as a preteen because the guy thought that I was my sister and older than 13, he let me go when I started crying and told him how old I was.

I consider those instances "sexual assault".

I have been kissed and groped by various men over the years when I did not welcome it. I did not put myself in the position for it to happen again with said individuals, sometimes confronting them, sometimes not. I consider those instances "learning experiences". I would never dream of prosecution.

In light of all of that, I find all these women crawling out of the woodwork absolutely unbelievable. If they had a problem, they should have dealt with it then (and unfortunately I think this applies to Cosby's accusers too). They waited WAY too long. If nothing else, they should have come forward as soon as he announced his candidacy, waiting until a month before elections stinks to high heaven. I have no doubt in my mind that someone has been out on a fishing expedition to find them.

It's the only thing that they have to throw at Trump hoping to tarnish his campaign. They did a similar thing to Herman Cain and it came from his own party. The opposition would have no trouble using the same tactic.

Regardless of your personal stance regarding the election and whether or not you believe that Trump did or did not impose himself on women, I find it absolutely reprehensible that anyone would trivulize sexual assualt.  I truly hope it does not take an attack on yourself, your mother, your sister, your daughter, your best friend to open your eyes and make many of you understand there is a huge difference between being politically irrereverant and being a bully.  Sexual assualt is not about SEX.  It is about imposing dominance on another.  It is never a joking matter.

Listen to the mans words, it went beyond an unwanted kiss.  He was 59 years old, married and was expecting a child.  So much for his Christian values!

Hope your daughter is never confronted by a sleezy old man who thinks his money and/or position gives him the right to do what he wants.

When my cousin went to work for a Senator during the Clinton years, you can dang sure believe I felt this same way!
How is what Trump did worse than what our PRESIDENT did? I don't understand how it is much worse now than then, except that one was a Democrat and one is a Republican.
