| I feed 14% Big V all stock pellet, Race bran & alfalfa twice a day. If I have one under weight or needing a little more weight I put them on DuMor fat supplement from TSC. I de-worm every 2 months.

Location: on the fine line between insanity and geniusness | We feed the race horse feed from Big V and LOVE IT!! It's a 14/10. We feed a good grass hay during the winter and Animal Element supplements and mega oil from oxygen. Our horses might be treading the fine line of too fat- especially right now with me on baby leave! LOL! Butttt, on a regular day my fiancΓ© saddles one at 5 am and drags in after dark, Big V maintains them even when we make a living on their back all day. |

I have fed the dumor fat supplement as well, it worked just as well if not better then the expensive stuff. And the rice bran from TSC works great as well |

| I don't have any before and afters. We had a brutal year with our horses health and made changes to our program to get everyone healthy. I now feed oats, hay pellets, peas and pumpkin seeds. I use several different herbal formulas that I either make up on my own , curost or THE products. I also use hemp seed oil rice bran oil, and ACV. They are on a mix of grass and alfalfa or straight alfalfa. They are coming along really nice and have only been on it since Sept. The mare in the picture nearly died in March when she got peritonitis . They are all healthy again. This picture is mid Oct.

I've heard that, but have always fed alfalfa and never had issues or found that to be true. |

Location: Mississippi | I feed Pro Force Fuel, free choice hay at all times, T.H.E Muscle Mass and just started adding DAC oil. I have had this gelding a little less than a year and he was extremely underweight (bought him from photos/videos only that obviously were not recent - my own fault). The top pic was him after being at my place and fed good for 3 months and the bottom was him last Wednesday. He is 5 and still needs to fill out more but I think we are on the right track. I do have to say that had I gone to actually look at him, I probably wouldn't have bought him but he is turning out to be my favorite horse and starting to have some really nice runs.

The peas are dried split peas and the pumpkin seeds are raw I suppose you could feed roasted as well . I just tried it because they are suppose to be good for the gut and even a natural wormer to some degree. I buy from several places like our health food store , grocery store and you can find them online. I am hoping to buy some from local farmers this year. The pumpkins seeds I get at health food store and several places on line. |

Have you done a fecal test since starting the pumpkins?
My vet told me they are a natural wormer, that's why I was curious on how much |

You can feed 2 ounces a day I just have to do a little less right now . The horses love them. I have not done a fecal but my weanlings have been on it and I have not noticed any signs of them being wormy. I wormed before winter and usually get some round worms showing up but not this time. I planned to check them this spring and see if it is working. |

| I recently put mine on nice quality alfalfa, 2 big flakes twice a day. They have access to a coastal roundbale when turned out. They pick at it but mostly go out and forage the pasture for what little grass has come up. Two get blue bonnet nature's blend performance once a day with fastrack and THE MM added in, the older guy is getting strategy once a day too. Thinking about ditching all the grain and going with whole oats instead and adding equipride (if I can get my hands on some good whole oats out here) I'm pretty satisfied with how they look, even with their fuzzy winter coats on. |
