I have several in my barn, different sizes.
Agreed! I love my WonPad! I have a few of them, the oldest being about 10 years or so. Hasn't broken done in the least. |

IowaCanChaser - 2017-01-20 10:24 PM If you have trouble fitting your saddles, the Len Brown "Corrector" Pad is amazing! Definitely worth the money. Everyone that I know that's tried it has loved it, and never gone back to other pads! It has movable shims that customize for your horse, and designed to fit a horse. They come in all sizes and styles. 10/10 would recommend! PM me if you have any other questions! http://thecorrector.net/ Store: https://len-browns-innovations.myshopify.com/
Are you a dealer for these pads, just wondering..ย
No I am not, but I should be! LOL I'm just a very happy customer. |

| We have a whole wall of 5 stars, from 1/2" to our 1" and 1 1/8" pads that we rope in. Don't feel the need to spend money on any other wool/felt pad.
I have a CSI that I keep on hand for when one of our rope saddles ends up on a particular horse, I think it fits him better with the CSI. On my wider more mutton withered gelding it makes my saddle roll.
I tried a saddleright and with the saddle/horse combo I had at the time I did not care for it. I could not get it to sit square on him and he was pretty expressive in his opinion of it. Not that I would try one again, but I would have to run across a good deal on one. Just my experience. |

| I just got a Toklat pad and love it! I was on the fence about trying it because it's not as common as 5 Star and that others, but I LOVE it! Amazing quality and I think it'll hold up for many years. The impact absorption is awesome. I rode in my Biofit yesterday and the Toklat today and it was a totally different ride. Same horse and saddle but everything felt better after the ride (my back especially). |

| Love 5 Stars! They hold up great and when you're ready for a new color or style you can sell a 2 or 3 yr old 5 Star pad for $100 plus and head out to buy a new one.
Did see something new I'm tempted to try though....Iconoclast pads! |

Location: NW MT | I use and sell 5 Stars - have had dealerships for several other brands in the past, but only handle 5 Stars now. I use what I believe in. I want natural - they are 100% virgin wool (well, just slightly less than that ;) ) and breathe on my horses' backs, don't create any heat, and conform to their back. I love the thickness choices, and all the colors and options we have. They have been the ONLY pad I personally use for close to 15 years. If anyone is interested in one, I'm more than happy to help! (OH - they are made in the USA too! |

| I really love my Ed Wright Pad. Made in the same place as 5 star and has held up great, looks new after 3 years of having it. But I think for my next birthday I am going to ask for a colored 5 star. The purple and turquoise just has me gushing every time I see one. |

Location: NE Texas | I just bought 2 SPH Performance pads and I really like them. I bought the 3/4" wool pads and considering my saddle also has cut out skirts for close contact, these pads work perfectly. I've always been either a 5 Star or Saddleright user and I may like this pad as much or more than those. Same feel as the 5 Star as far as the wool goes, but love the split from like the Saddlright. Super happy with my purchase!

Give me that saddle!!! Cool pad too!
OP: I have a saddle right and a five star in my trailer. Love them both. I use the saddle right on my older mare and the five star on my filly for now. |

| I have both a CSI and 5 Star. I use the CSI on my high withered gelding and the 5 star on my wider backed mare. CSI doesn't fit the mare as well as I would like and my 5 Star doesn't give the wither clearance I like on my gelding.
I also have some old cheap wool pads that I use on colts. More like a liner that most pleasure people use and they throw a Navajo over the top. |

Actually, no - 5 Stars are the ONLY pad made at the 5 Star company - they do not make any for anyone else, nor do they "farm out" the production of their pads either. If you are referring to where the wool is felted, then yes - they may be felted at the same plant, BUT 5 Stars are MUCH higher in virgin wool (just under 100%) vs the next closest is like 60%. Each company has their own "recipe" for the composition on the felting of their pads. I do believe the Wright pads & Slones pads are the same composition. |
