Location: In the Hills of Texas | It's a very easy fix if you just have single restrooms as many around us just put men/women instead of 1 men and 1 women. The problem is when there is multiple stalls.
Our Walmart and HEB (grocery store) has a family bathroom so they were already ahead of this.

Yes, I understand the historical accuracy but I 100% disagree that Trump is using that phrase as a racist code. You missed my whole point that for people to get "the code" they have to be familiar with the history of this group and I bet it is safe to say most of the general population is not. For a "code" to work both the sender and receiver have to understand it. Trump uses America First in the same context as buy American made products, take care of vets, American jobs. Saying this is disturbing and "code" is pure propaganda and meant to feed the fury of the liberal base, divide and cause chaos. To say that anyone who wants to put their own country first is speaking code for being a racist is absolutely ridiculous. It is might be that some want to fix our problems here at home first.

And on a side note Finney, nice of you to single out American history, but if you actually research the history of every country you will see it is ugly.... Every war is ugly.... Spain, France, England, the Netherlands, Germany trying to take the power in Europe a couple of centuries ago. Get your head out of your a$$ and figure it out.
Look at Africa, plenty of countries there still in was with each other. Let's not start about the Middle East, that has been a powder keg for the last how many centuries!!

Yes, the U.S. did turn away that ship full of Jews. There are just as many heterosexual predators as same-sex predators. So in reality, it shouldn't increase crimes from "perverts." I personally am not comfortable with it but there are several other things I am not comfortable with. That's life... the stalls have a door for your privacy. If you have grandkids that are too young where you are not comfortable, go with them. I don't let my nieces or nephews into a public restroom without me. | |

There are just as many heterosexual predators as same-sex predators. So in reality, it shouldn't increase crimes from "perverts." I personally am not comfortable with it but there are several other things I am not comfortable with. That's life... the stalls have a door for your privacy. If you have grandkids that are too young where you are not comfortable, go with them. I don't let my nieces or nephews into a public restroom without me.
I know as a young girl I would have been horrified if a man had come into the bathroom with me even though were stalls. If I had to share a locker room with a young man that was claiming he was a transgender female, I would have quit athletics. In 7th and 8th grade, heck even in high school, most of us were not comfortable enough with our bodies to deal with a transgender.

I'm with you GLP, if I had to share locker rooms/bathroon with someone that was a dude but was claiming it was female I would have been so out of there. We were brought up that this is not right.

I think you need to bone up on your own education before you start giving tips to others. On the other hand, I take that back. Stay the way you are. You serve a useful purpose as a teaching tool.
