You're all so sweet and friendly! Now I wish I'd left my original post as the long version it was with my struggle to make the decision to start riding again! The summary is that I wasn't in an incredibly abusive relationship which caused my riding to stop, ("waste of time and money, and you're not THAT good"), and left me with 0 confidence. To some people it's just picking back up a hobby but for my daughter and I this is a whole new chapter. I'm taking my life back :) Really glad to be here during this time now!

Oh you're gonna fit right in and ALWAYS feel free to share you troubles and trials and standout moments with us!! (Sometimes I just know my BB roll their eyes cause I can sure write a book when I get going!)

Your story sounds so similar to mine. I left a year ago and he's still trying to convince me I'm selfish for wanting to ride and barrel race when for 14 years I did everything! Now I'm so happy to be able to make choices without being told they're stupid or selfish. I want to raise my girls to have a voice and stand up for themselves because it took me way too long to do that for myself.
