Beautiful chestnut.

I have a liver chestnut mare with a big blaze and stockings. She's got zebra stripes on her legs, a dorsal stripe, and dappling on her back. They are GORGEOUS horses. I always get compliments on her. Until they find out she's double bred Joe Hancock. Then people frown upin her.
But that's okay cause when I take her to ropings my face looks like this after someone compliments her color and build:

WinningPaints - 2017-05-12 2:30 PM GENETICALLY, red is red is red. No genetic difference between sorrel and chestnut. Some people like to say chestnut is darker than sorrel but its just like there are different shades of bay.

Yes, I knew technically that they were one in the same however, AQHA has both listed as a color when registering a foal that's why I wanted to be sure
