The brand looks almost nothing like it should. yes I'll get a picture of it Is this the first time you used this brand? I'm with WhiteBoy would love to see what your branding Iron looks like. And it just could be that your vet didnt know what the heck they were doing too, theres a trick to branding with a freeze brand got to know where and when to rock that brand Yes this was the first and only time. Used it on an old ranch horse before our high dollar barrel and roping horses How did the brand turn out on the other horses that you use it on?
We haven't tried it again until we figure out why it didn't turn out |

Ahhhh got it now.. I was thinking she just had it done on this horse at the vets and had another horse done awhile back and trying to figured out why its not working right..If this is the case I would find someone else that specializes in freeze branding and have them look at the brand and see what they think and let them brand one of your horses, theres a big different in someone that knows what they are doing when it comes to freeze branding. |

Location: TEXAS | That's frustrating...I figured if the vets offered the service, they could do it. $165 wasted right there |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | That brand needs rocked when they apply it. While applying pressure whoever is doing it, have them rock it back and forth. We do the same for our brand...really any freeze brand should be rocked when applying it to a horse. |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | Have your person branding read this. I just did a quick google search. We use the alcohol/dry ice method but the way to apply the brand is the same. It mentions the rocking motion. http://www.cowboyway.com/What/FreezeBranding2.htm |
