I wouldn't ride in one if you paid me to. I know Fallon Taylor tried them, and as you can see, she is no longer on that bandwagon at all. It lasted about a blink and she was over it. I been watching her more the last few rounds and noticed she never seems to kick. Looks like she is squeezing with her legs like riding bare back. Even on the run home she did not kick.
I just figured that was her style...not so much a saddle thing. She definitely has close, quiet legs. |

The #1 barrel racer in the world, regular season earnings record holder, multiple time arena record holder (including Calgary, THE most prestigious rodeo) and yet there are still assumptions that her horses must be sore from her saddle choice??? Are you serious? How could she win as much as she has with a sore horse?
For those who commented that the saddle didn't suit their personal style, that's fine, I totally get that, not every saddle will suit everyone. But to get online and bash someone else's choice? When it's obviously working for them.... Classy. |

Location: on the fine line between insanity and geniusness | Totally OT- but did anyone else notice that Tianyโs saddle sparkles?! It reminds me of the saddle that hangs from the ceiling at Billy Bobs!! Itโs funny because thatโs so opposite of Tiany! Iโve known her since I was a kid and never seen her ride something sparkly! Sheโs always liked the plain Jane kinda stuff. When in Rome I guess!! |

Right. Her riding style is also being questioned. Hmm. She's all about weight, and a quiet rider is going to cause less compensation from a horse than someone that is moving a lot, simple physics.
The saddle looks like something I would fall out of on my 3D horse, much less the caliber she's mounted on, much less in the freaking T&M with the walls and the tiny pattern.
Her riding skills and abilities and tack choices shouldn't be questioned by anyone. I can only aspire to that level of ability. |

I really want to try one on my hard to fit gelding...the fact that it just sits up there and doesn't "fit" may be just what he needs!!
Nobody can question Tiany's ability...nobody.
She has been using these saddles for years, obviously they work for her! I know several people in my area that have swapped over to them and love them. I'd love to try one on one of my horses, but just haven't had the chance. |

Most likely unless they fit big...although that's not what I've heard. I'm usually a 15-15.5 |

I love that she is sooo quiet with her legs and still she gets the run out of her horses. I aspire to that. |

I don't see why people don't just get an Abetta. Cheap, light weight, and can't be any worse quality than one of those.ย
THIS!!!!
I actually own a fabtron because my back and shoulders are failing me. I will happily use is for barrel racing and I have no problem with how it sits me and it fits my horse just fine. Personally I like the rigging in the tree anyways. High quality, not really but it is safe and lightweight and $750.
And I am not knocking this woman or the quality of her saddle. I just think the price is silly. It's a free country and if people are willing to buy it for that price, more power to them.

The horn was to small and not wrapped and it was some type of aluminum or metal and too small and I didnt feel like I was down in the saddle. I agree with the poster that said not worth it for saving a few pounds of weight. |

Via her snapchat she has focused on her businesses and her young horses that are futurity age. She had announced that she would be making a bid for 2018 NFR..but I have not heard anything about that since. |

Location: Jersey Girl | CanCan - 2017-12-09 2:01 PM I tried one. I learned that I am not Brazilian. I also learned why great Brazilian riders are male. No one with a V jay jay needs that saddle. Horse didn’t like it either. I remember riding in my cousin’s nylon saddle back in the day. At least that one didn’t hurt my bottom parts.

Location: The best kept secret in TX | Two things: First: Teskey's now carries their version of a Brazlillian style saddle (Saw them stacked up on a back wall, couldn't find a price but the keepers say "teskey's Brazillian") And Secondly: I hear FT has been riding in a brazillian a lot lately... Came unseated recently in a blog video... Didn't see the video but I heard about it.

If its the video from a week ago, her horse actually wiped out at the first. I don't think there was much the saddle could have done to help. It was a pretty bad wreck. |
