I sure hope Taci doesn't let last night get to her I felt awful for her!! If she reads this, GOOD LUCK AND KICK BUTT IN ROUND TWO! You were fixing to kick their butts.
Has anyone heard is Paige is ok after that barrel went up under her? I hated seeing that! |

Stir the pot and run away!

I agree on this theory. I just bought a brand new 5 star pad. I tried it on and went for a ride, my saddle slipped/rolled a lot. When i took the pad off I roughed it up a bit with a curry comb. much better now. Maybe she didn't realize this would happen, an easy mistake. I hope she gets it all worked out!! Good riding though!! |

Location: WI | I plan to have these stats done for each Go Round - I think it will be cool to see if and how things change up between top of the ground and bottom of the ground, as well as between each go round.

This is what I was thinking, maybe the nerves got the better of her. She is human!! I'm sure she will do better today! And she kept it all together! Not sure how many would in a situation like that.... At any rate, i will be rooting for her tonight. |

Location: Willows, CA | It was nice to see Ivy get a check last night. She is a patch rider for us and has been a great ambassador this year and last year. Our other two patch program riders, Eric Rogers and Riley Minor were both in the team roping money. Clean sweep picking up checks in the first round.
I love this time of year, but don't get as much sleep as I should for ten days. |

Location: lost in missouri | I believe we are seeing why Sister is AQHA PRCA Horse of the Year. I havent checked did any other horse of the year winners win a check let alone a round last night? I love Show Mance and Sharpie and questioned the choice of Sister, but wow did she show her stuff last night. Hope Tiany gets on Show Mance soon to see what he does with the T&M |

| Stuff happens! Saddles roll! Who cares! Taci will bounce back after this. No doubt about it.
I can't stop thinking about Nellie's win on that cute little blue roan - what a horse! She should feel awesome and proud that her family raised and trained her. |

| Anyone else feel like the ground went from hard to super loose at the first barrel? Just seemed like some of the horses had a hard time hooking up at the first barrel after the first couple runs. It will be interesting to see what it does tonight. |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | I thought a lot of the horses seemed to get front endy and Peggy when they rated and some of the ladies got pitched forward a little. I'm not sure why, and maybe that's just the way they are. It couldn't have been too bad with all those 13's in the first round. |

| Kassie was riding Firewatermakemehappy, a horse she rode for the owner in his futurity years. They are a great team, and those of us from the northern portion of Texas have been beaten by them many times??. I betting they will be one of the teams to break the arena record this year. This is an exceptional group, and it would not shock me if the record is broken 2 or 3 times. |

| Haley is going to blow the arena record out of the water is she cleans up that third, amazing. Some of the horses looked a little choppy. |
