Location: Texas | medium rare filet mignon or ribeye. I usually choose the filet because I can get a smaller steak, but still thick cut. The downfall of many a ribeye has been that they are cut too thin, I am picky about that. |

| My daughter is a great cook and makes the best filet mignon you have ever eaten. She cooks it like Gordon Ramsey does, she has ruined us on eating steak out, hers is so much better. |

Location: At the race track with Ah Dee Ohs | Medium rare. Over cooked steak gets tough as shoe leather. Hubby says his mom ruined steaks cooking them well done. The rarer the better for him! LOL |

Between rare and medium rare. It’s impossible to undercook a steak, by you can over cook one in a hot second! I will send a steak back in a heartbeat if it’s even medium... I’m a tad picky where my beef is involved!
When my brother graduated from college, we went to a very upscale steakhouse with a big family group, I believe there were about 15-20 of us there, and of course I ordered my steak blue rare. The one they brought out to me was charred and burnt, so naturally I sent it back and asked for a new steak. My entire family stopped eating and looked at me like I was crazy for requesting a new steak. I calmly said “if I’m paying $60 for this hunk of meat, it better darn well be cooked how I like it!”

Still mooing (aka blue rare ) 
You blue rare ladies and my child could all grill together obviously! We were at a steakhouse and he ordered his filet RARE (he enunciates for the waiter/waitress!!!) and it came back medium. . . When the waiter asked if it was cooked correctly Chandler said "not really," and of course they asked if he wanted another steak---he told them we were going to the Eric Church concert and didn't have time but they could just bring him a cup of blood to go with it 
Y'all I about got under the table---the poor waiter didn't know whether to take him serious or not. He stammered for a second and then said he would have to ask the manager--Chandler finally let him off the hook and said he was joking. Although I'm not sure he was. . . |

You raised him right, that's for sure! What a good sense of humor! I would have died laughing right there, no Eric Church concert for me
