I haven't heard of a Bikini Race since the days of the Booger Barter productions. Not for me but to each his own.
I remember a guy running in one of those and he had a coconut bra on, it was hilarious!
I see NOTHING wrong with it. I wouldn't do it, I'm old and fat but have at it! |

Location: Ohio girl moved to PA | I would if i was in better shape and didnt have my girls to worry about. I have an issue with them getting in the way with two sports bras on let alone a bikini top. Doesnt help i can NEVER find one to keep them in when im just walking around let alone riding!! hahah if i could wear some sort of shorts and maybe double up on bras i would do it. lol its the thought that counts especially if its for breast cancer awareness or some sort of benefit! |

Kinda OT but, I've seen this commercial several times when I'm watching rftv, either wpra or racers edge about some sort of super bra that resembles them putting sport boots on the horses then panning to the gal strapping up the bra.. wish I could remember the name of it! Looks like a lot of velcro but I always thought what a bright idea for women with bigger tata's, unfortunately for me, I don't have that issue lol!! |

Location: Deep South | I don't have the confidence to enter one myself. But wouldn't hesitate if I had the bod! Or if I had a horse badass enough and enough added money to make it worth it. Lol! I seriously don't get raining on someone else's parade though. It's all in good fun.

After so many years of riding English and listening over and over to "dress the part, dress to win, dress to respect yourself and the sport", like I said, I would never personally do it, even if I had the body for it. I can see why people will be bothered by it and I can see why people will be ok with it. I guess to each its own. If you don't like it don't do it, if you do, knock yourself out. I don't think is matter of people lighten up or being less judgmental, it's matter of where you draw the line for what you consider acceptable in a family event or not. Am I making sense? |

I'm sure people would pay to make sure I didn't wear a bikini. They have one here every year. Sometimes it's a sidepot for those in a bikini. One year it was swimsuit mandatory. I was going to buy one of these but I know their goal was to show skin & embarrass people so I'm sure there would have been a fight for me to enter in this.

On the family event part... I get it. I wouldn't bring kids to one, BUT it's not like these races aren't advertised as Bikini Races. You don't show up thinking all is normal only to be smacked in the face by bikini bodies everywhere. Heck I know some are 18+ to be able to get into the stands for that reason. If you know it's not a place you'd like your family to be, then don't go. JMO! |

Yeah, I don't think for 1 second it makes any girl a "ho" for entering a bikini barrel race. If I had the body I had when I was doing figure competitions, I probably still wouldn't do it though, but I sure don't take issue with them or any gals that want to do it. I mean if it's just bikinis... not like thongs or pasties lol! |

i think i know what youre talking about, but man i feel like i would feel squished!!! i feel squished with even two sport bras on lol i gotta take one off as soon as im done running. Shefits don't make you feel squished by any means I don't think. I am pretty large, Luxe 1 sizing in their bras, and I have no problem wearing them for an extended period of time and don't feel too restricted or smashed. It's not a uniboob like most sports bras. You can make them as tight as you want or if you want them looser they still support you. If you're having to do two sports bras, you should really try Shefit I think. Definitely one bra would be more comfortable than two in my opinion. |
