I heard it can be tough on a horses belly and that one prone to ulcers should not be fed it?Β

I don’t too dress it on feed , I squirt it directly into their mouth. They are on 15cc Day now and I can almost 100 percent guarantee you that small of an amount never makes it to the stomach. Company claims its absorbed before it even leaves the mouth. I would think if you top dressed it could be carried to the stomach. Hope that helps!

My husband & I take the horse Lubrisyn every morning. It helps our knees immensely! It has also cut down on injections for the horses. I didn't tell our vet what we were giving the horses the first year we used Lubrisyn. He said "whatever you're doing is working so don't change." Then I told him. He calls it Lubriderm instead of Lubrisyn. Lol! - No we are not feeding hand lotion to our horses!

There is nothing in it that would be tough on the stomach and the amount you feed if it isn't absorbed before it hits the stomach, the acid would kill it.

The body makes HA all the time, the HA inhibits the prostaglandin secretion which stops the inflammatory pathway, so I would think it would be good on the stomach.

What is the dosage you & your husband take? Might have to try it myself!
