According to the ex-jockey commentators, the first quarter was a little fast for a 1 1/2 mike race but they seemed a lot happier with the slower second quarter. Really nice minded colt letting the jockey adjust his speed like that, I thought. |

Location: Ky | Great horse, great trainer, great rider. Winning combination. I've been on Justify from the start. We went to a Derby party at Ellis Park and I put $100 to win on Justify that day. We couldn't make it over there for the Preakness but I was working in henderson the day before and stopped by Ellis Park and put a $100 to win on him for the Preakness.
We were back at Ellis yesterday. I had a $100 to win on him again. But also added an exacta box with him and Bravazo and also bet Bravazo across. Then 5 minutes before the race I decided to put a little across on Vino but I also put another $250 to win on Justify.
So we had a good day!! 
Justify is an awesome horse. Still growing up. He will win the Breeder's Cup too. |

That's precisely what my husband and I were wondering... Restoring Hope's owners probably got a lot of money for that race. Winning the Triple Crown is an amazing feat, don't get me wrong, we just noticed RH was really helping Justify hold onto that lead. |
