You have an amazing husband, and I have NO doubt in no time at all your family will be back on track. You may not go to college for a housecleaning degree, but there are some folks around here that make way good money doing it! Hugs to you, and please keep us posted on "Buckner"! |

Thank you. I’m hoping to actually have a chance to saddle him up before the week is done and our weather goes to junk. I haven’t been able to do anything as it seems they used glue to attach his auction number on his back. I can’t get the goo off and he’s agitated at my scrubbing. |

My husband... :) He certainly has my heart.. since the day I met him. He has been down lately, he has said he feels that he let me down. Shoot, I don’t mind working. It feels good to contribute. I wouldn’t change it for the world. I just want his happiness as he wants mine. (Insert eye rolls and hearts here). Lol.
I like Buckner, but good Lordy, he better not buck! I’ve realized in recent years that I’m an awful bronc rider! |

Thank you so much. His heart is so good. He would lasso the stars for me if he could. He deserves more than I could ever give him. He makes me mushy. ;)

| Your new horse is gorgeous, and I'm very happy for you! I think he is in great hands now! I am self employed, I clean houses for a living. I absolutely LOVE my job, and wouldn't trade it for anything. It has taken some time to build a client base, and I am still doing that, but I make my own flexible hours, and I make $30/hr. Keep us all updated on how your new horse is doing |

Hey! Happy thanksgiving. Thank you for your message. I LOVE cleaning houses too. It is a very satisfying thing to me, to be able to go in and see what you can accomplish. I’m just prayerful that God can bring me the amount of work I need to help keep our household the same! It definitely seems more challenging now than it once was. |

Location: In The Snow, AZ | On another note, I haven’t been able to do much with my boy since the place that had him glued his sticker on his back. Almost seems like they used a hot glue gun?? I’ve used several adhesive removers, soap and water and degreasers. It just does NOT want to come loose. |

Try WD-40 if you haven't already. It will usually get the sale barn glue |

Thank you so much! Used it today and the glue is gone! In saying that, I was able to saddle him and walk him around. Waiting to have the farrier our before I ask for any more. But I’m very happy with how he was, for being seven years old and having a year off. Maybe my expectations are low, but I’m excited. |

Location: In The Snow, AZ | He’s doing well! I haven’t been able to do a whole lot with him, between weather and waiting on the farrier. We finally got shoes put on him two days ago. The farrier hoof tested him and said he’s foot sore but not limited to the heel, doesn’t feel that he’s navicular. Obviously he said x-rays would be necessary to make a more definitive answer, but he recommended putting regular shoes on to help him grow some foot out. He agreed that he was trimmed far too short and his feet are very soft.
I lunged him, and he’s much improved with the protection on his feet. Was pretty spunky, actually. I’m happy to say, he’s JUST passed his quarantine time, and I was able to move him over to where the other horses are today. So now I get to go running to the window every time a hear a squeal. Hoping to get on him next week as the snow moves out and we get above freezing. |

His hind legs are pretty scraped up, no swelling or heat at this point, but he’s definitely sore. Busted up my heavy duty panel, so I’m sure he’s not feeling too hot. He’s now back in his quarantine pen. I’m not sure how to introduce him over if he’s going to have a kick-fest, I don’t have the extra funds to deal with injuries. I have a super long run-in, with three stalls coming off of it. So everyone is separated. I guess I’d rather him kick panels than my other horses, but don’t need him hurt either. |
