Location: Arkansas | I have mine and I use it everywhere except work (I work for the federal government and we aren't allowed to have them on us at work). I keep mine actually on my body, rather than in a purse. I feel like it would be way too easy for someone to snatch your purse, or snatch you and you drop your purse. |

What do you use to do that? If you dont mind telling.
I don't mind at all. I have a Sig P238 .380 that I can carry in the small of my back if my shirt is untucked. Most times I carry a little .22 mag revolver in my right front pocket. I even rope and run barrels with it in there. It's a cool little gun that has a notch in between each cylinder for the hammer. It WILL NOT fire unless you cock the hammer first. It's what my husband calls an "up close gun". I usually have a .40 Glock and or .38 revolver in the house/truck as well. |

Either the small of my back or in my right front pocket. I've tried an ankle holster, but it feels like it would be too hard to get to in an emergency (to me). I also tried the flash bang holster, but I've got too dang much going on up there to begin with, lol. |

I carry inside the waistband, most of the times on the right hip. Depending on the jeans I wear it might be more towards the middle of my back, or more to the side.
The thing I love about the 38s, is that it has an enclosed hammer, so it can't get snagged on clothing.
Recently I ordered a waistband to carry but I haven't used it yet. I don't really do handbags anyway, but if I did I'd still be wearing on my person. A bag is so easy to get away from you. |

Location: Oklahoma City OK | I took courses and have my concealed carry but rarely shoot and rarely carry - 'can't carry a gun on the property where I work. Shame on me for not practicing more but guns are very intimidating to me. However, they are trying to pass a bill where it is NOT required to take any training or pass any tests and not necessary to purchase a permit to carry. I STRONGLY disagree with that - I feel EVERYONE should have to pass a background check, the tests and have some training. I don't feel every individual should be able to carry and surely don't want to meet some on the street. I'm becoming a real hermit - just too scary to go out almost anywhere anymore. The bad guys are winning. I'm glad to have my gun with me when I'm home.

However, they are trying to pass a bill where it is NOT required to take any training or pass any tests and not necessary to purchase a permit to carry. I STRONGLY disagree with that - I feel EVERYONE should have to pass a background check, the tests and have some training. I don't feel every individual should be able to carry and surely don't want to meet some on the street. I'm becoming a real hermit - just too scary to go out almost anywhere anymore. The bad guys are winning. I'm glad to have my gun with me when I'm home.

| Well I'm all signed up and paid for to take my LTC class this coming Sunday! I'm really excited but kind of nervous at the same time. This is something I've been putting off for a while so I'm glad I'm finally doing it. |

The problem I have with background checks is, who decides what is okay? Is depression of any kind a mental illness? A kid arrested at 18 for pot? How about an arrest on felony charges but they were dropped because they were unfounded? Who decides? ) |

I'm sure I could pass right now, I just know I would probably do more harm than good with a gun in a sticky situation. We keep talking about doing a range day double date with my husbands cop buddy and wife for fun but we never get around to it. Such is life with kids. |

| I have a 40 cal. glock and a 380. The glock is a little to big for me to carry comfortably so I carry the 380, usually in my right front pocket. It has a safety that I can easily disengage while still in my pocket. I'm affraid that in my scatter brain-ness I would leave my purse somewhere, that's why I don't like to carry it there. Plus when in a parking lot or like place I can easily have my hand in my pocket while walking. I keep the glock in the truck while traveling then in the living quarters while staying in it. |

I'm torn between the Glock 43 and a Smith and Wesson MP9 with the performance center. The only thing I hesitate with the Glock is because there is not a safety. Thoughts? |
