So. Just as I knew last week but didn't want to speculate because my sources are not on the approved list for this discussion board I waited until I had proof that was above reproach.  Here it is.  What it says in a nutshell is the dems can suck it because Trump can and will do whatever he wants with the money to build the wall and he's got more from other sources to total about 8 billion. 

The clause about consulting with the officials in the Rio Grande Valley is just that. Consult. They don't have to approve of what the wall will be or where it will be. 

"These phrases below imply that Trump plans on following his constitutional rights no matter what he signed in the “Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2019” (the “Act”), which authorizes appropriations to fund the operation of a number of agencies in the Federal Government through September 30, 2019.
“My Administration will treat each of these provisions consistent with the President’s constitutional authorities with respect to foreign relations.”
And
“my Administration will continue the practice of treating provisions like these as advisory and non-binding.”
And
“My Administration will make appropriate efforts to notify the relevant committees before taking the specified actions and will accord the recommendations of such committees all appropriate and serious consideration, but it will not treat spending decisions as dependent on the approval of congressional committees.”

Welp.....dang.  Do you suppose Trump had his ducks in a row before last week?  

This is a little off topic but important to know about the left. Angel Moms and Dads last week went to Nancy Pelosi's office to meet with her about the dangers of illegals and how they are "killing their children" in the words of Dan Ferguson whose 28-year-old beautiful daughter was run down by a drunken illegal driver.  She was crossing the street. He had run two red lights.  He had been deported but was back.  These people come and go as they please. 

Most importantly, when these Angel parents showed up at her office to speak with her, she called the Capitol police and had them removed.  I don't know how it gets any more despicable than this.  How would she feel if the victim's last name was Pelosi.

Pelosi is a horrible human being....all there is to it. She doesn't give one hoot about any of the American people. 

Another thing I "heard" last night is. Yes there will still be a suit by the dems. It will end up at SCOTUS most likely. But the only funds that are held up by the legal challenges is the $1.375 billion that is actually in the bill. The balance of the roughly $8 billion is available without their approval or interference.  Anyone who doubts this man has his ducks in a row, just hasn't been paying attention for the last 3 years. That's MY president. 

Ruperto Escobar was on the San Antiono news last night talking about how we need the wall and hes a farmer along the Rio Grande river and is willing to give up part of his land for it, he knows and sees the danger.. Look up the flim clip on him, its San Antiono news channel 12 or KSAT news, you can go to their Facebook and see it there, I would put it here but have not master doing live links,, I wonder if these news reports on our border with the people that live on the border ever really gets out there like in different states. Do any of you that live up in the uppers states ever see these reports?

STPG I do see them. But I'm friends with horse people all over the country and I'm already tuned into that type of news.  But I'm pretty sure, all the social media outlets try to remove these things from the feed.  The MSM is our enemy just like Trump says. They do NOT tell the truth. Usually the opposite.  

I live in Iowa.  I really don't watch the news much because it's depressing.

I kind of feel like the only reason I know what's going on at the border is because I have friends in Texas and Arizona who talk about it a lot.  I doubt I'd know as much without them. 

I was kinda wondering if all the news about the border and what happens in Mexico really gets out there, I understand about not watching news, its does get really depression at times.

I agree the MSM and all the other fake news people what America to think all is safe and good on the border, wont show what is really happening.. 

If you have FOX news you will miss nothing, and SouthTx, including the farmer/rancher you referenced above.  It's why liberals absolutely hate FOX and why so many people watch it.  Without them, everyone would be in the dark.  

Well not really. Fox news is the only thing on TV that is even putting some of the real information out. But they are weeks behind the alternative news.  There are MANY people who are citizen journalists that put real (well researched and credible) news out. You just have to go find them on Youtube or their own hosted podcasts.  

Griff Jenkins from FOX joined the caravans coming from Central America and reported everyday on their progress.  That's pretty up to date.  He also interviewed a lot of the migrants.  The mayor of Tijuana is right.  Many are pot-smoking bums.
