The different brands definitely are not created equal, so that makes a huge difference. Plus, as in everything else, what works for one, might not work for another. Our liniment gel is fast becoming one of my favorite of the products. My equine dentist is now out of pain in his shoulders (he's taking the soft gels too) and our farrier was shocked how the pain in his back is gone when he uses the liniment. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I've been using CBD capsules for the last few weeks for my knee and back, and I really think there is something to it, and it really helps me sleep so much better, its being made not to far from me and this person just opened up a shop here in Seguin. Like RockyRoad was saying I think it really depends on who you buy it from, and NO I dont sell it, just like it. |

Location: Ky | In seriousness, I think it helps me a little. I started using it last Oct on the recomendation of my brother. He's a disabled coal miner and swears by the relief he's gotten from the oil. He also uses the linament. The one we use is made locally and is certified to have 0% THC. Maybe it would work better if it had some? It's never been the help for me that he claims. In fact, I thought it dodn't work at all. When I ran out a couple months ago I stopped taking it. I didn't nothice any difference not taking it either. But a month or so after not taking it I had soreness in my knees when running. I run 4 miles 3 times a week. It wasn't terrible but I hadn't had it before in both knnes at the same time. So I bought another bottle. Now a month into taking it again I'm not having that knee soreness when running. I'm not sure it's the oil and when this bottle is gone I'm stopping again. If the knee soreness comes back then I'll be convinced that it helps. |

| I feel like there’s a lot of partial truth’s and things that need clarified. 1) Always find out where the oil is sourced from. The USA has very strict guidelines. Hemp producers must test the THC levels very frequently. The USA standard for THC levels is .3% or less. If the cultivated hemp crop tests above that, the entire crop is destroyed. There is no THC standard for oil sourced from China. China says there is, but I have never found what “it” is. Oil sourced from Europe...Sweden allows 6% THC. Italy 3%. Most of Europe is way above the USA standard. I had one company making horse products try to avoid telling me where the oil was sourced from. They told me the product was made in the USA. Great. But where is the oil sourced from. He finally admitted it came from Europe. 2) CBD is a cannaboid. It WILL have trace amounts of THC. Many people claim the product won’t test being at .3% or lower. This isn’t necessarily true. It really depends on how sensitive of a test the employer chooses to use. If they use an extremely sensitive test, you will test positive for THC. 3) Right now there is a big pharm company that is trying to get the FDA to give it sole rights to all CBD. If this happens, we can kiss CBD products goodbye. They are trying to do the same thing with certain herbs. 4) CBD is an oil. What works on some might not work on another since humans and animals are made up of mainly water. Water and oil don’t mix. It is truly a hit and miss. You also need to give it a solid 3 months to get into the system. The reason marijuana is so effective for pain management is because of the THC. In a nutshell, the THC acts as wheels to move the CBD around. CBD alone has a harder time helping the body heal because it lacks the THC wheels. So it takes time to work. |

Location: Where the stars at night are big and bright, TX | I don't give it to my horses. Might help if I read your entire post lol. But anyway... CBDfx is one I use for myself. Stumbled on a site cbdoilreview.org that rates them on various things, and looked at all the 5 star companies. Ordered some gummies from Cbdfx to try first, not very expensive. I slept a better without the morning hangover from melatonin or anything else I've tried. Still not sure if I wanted to feel something different or did. I want to try all the 5 star companies they list, so I just ordered some oil from Elixinol. Sleep is about the same but I noticed being on the oil a week (which goes under the tongue to avoid the liver so I am told), I notice I don't wake with asthma symptoms like I usually do. I can't say that it makes a noticeable difference in my life in times of stress or anxiety but will keep taking it and see if over time I can say now vs. then in other areas (breathing, sleep, etc.) |

am I reading it wrong or are all the ones they are claiming to be the "best ones" just the products that THEY sell? |

The review site I posted just rounded up other companies products and put a rating to them based on various points. They don't say they are all the best. I don't care if they offer them, I was just looking for a single site to first read about it all without fumbling through the net myself one product and point at a time. From there I went further into the 5 star products on other sites and the manufacturer's site. |

Location: Where the stars at night are big and bright, TX | I can definitely say I sleep better and wake up awake. :0) And it has defintely had an affect on my asthma and the inflammation that triggers it. I've only been on the oil a week but I haven't had any asthma meds in 3 days. That's saying a lot with an inhaler, Advair and a nebulizer at least twice a day. So far so good. I did play with the dosage and 1 mL seems to do the trick. The oil tincture I bought was 300 mg in a 15 ml tincture. edited because grammar :)

| There's different forms of CBD. Full Spectrum; has essentially all parts of the plant - CBD, terpenes, and up to .3% THC. Broad Spectrum; has CBD and terpenes with zero THC. Isolate; is simply CBD extracted from the plant with no terpenes and zero THC. Full Spectrum may test in horses and people as there's trace amounts of THC (up to .3% legally). Broad Spectrum and Isolate will not test for THC as the THC isn't there, but it will still test for CBD. There's products out there in various forms for horses, from pellets to oils (tinctures), to rubs, liniments, etc. And same for people from gummies to, capsules, to oils, to salve's, etc. Some horses do better on a Full Spectrum product as that tinge of THC works in synergy with the rest of the plant for a good result. Yet others may do better on Broad or Isolate. Depends on what you're trying to achieve and, as is the case in all mammals - every horse is different. Among other things; sourcing is very important, lab testing is important, and so is the extraction process, with CO2 extraction being superior. So if you tried CBD and it didn't do much, maybe you or your horse needed a different type. Yes, I'm involved in the industry and you're welcome to message me with questions.

| If the watchiness is anxiety based, I’ve seen it help quite a lot of those types of horses. And yes, you can give it a couple of hours before the event or travel and it will help. You may need to play with dosages to figure out what works best for that particular horse. |

Location: SE KS | Yes, THC works on their CB 1 recptors - which helps the brain and the nervous system. THC works the same on us humans as we have CB1 recptors and CB2 recptors that works on our digestive system... works the same on our horses, dogs, cats... any animal that has a vertabrae... |

Location: WYOMING | I had such a good response from my senior dog using Plantacea that I will definately try it on my horse. I gave it to the dog for general aches and pains that old dogs get. I can not give him traditional pain meds. He seriously had the best result. No idea if it will work for an anxious horse but we shall see... |

Probably cannabis tincture will work the best, easy to dosage and to make. You can find easy to make tincture here: https://thcdetox.biz/blog/how-to-make-cannabis-tincture/ |
