No. I have a filly I need to register that when I go try and register her online, AQHA says she was bred via frozen semen yet I know she wasn't and the breeders/stud report absolutely does not say frozen. Shall be a fun process. She doesn't need to be DNA'd (bred AI onsite) but I will to hopefully alleviate the headache that this is going to cause.
When I try to edit my registration for my 2019 colt, there is a "please wait" message that floats around the page forever. |

Location: SW MO | I got a stupid email yesterday bragging on how much they had improved. I had to laugh because that morning I had called and it is the same old story. It said they had hire 20 new people to answer the phone. The deal is though they can't help you so they transfer you to a different department where it's the same story all over again. If you leave your number for a call back someone calls who can't help you so they transfer you to a different department where you get to stay on hold and leave your number again, so you are usually looking at at least 3 days before you get to talk to someone who can help you if you get to talk to anyone at all. I have 3 numbers that go directly to people in registeration & the specaility department but they won't answer their phone & they won't call you back, when you leave a message. The thing that hacks me the most is they are watching face book for people complaining about AQHA. Why when they can't get anything done are they spending their time on facebook? |

Impeach the President!! I cannot believe the organization leaders are pretending this isn't happening. I keep checking the America's Horse magazine for an article that addresses what has caused their problems and their action plan to resolve it. I have seen nothing. If this were a company, upper managment would have been fired by now.
For 2 months everytime you called after you had been on hold for 5 minutes Stan Weaver came on & told how it was unexceptable that AQHA was having so many problems and they were working on them. It repeated the recording about every 5 minutes. I got where I wanted to punch him in the throat, I guess I wasn't alone because they have now removed that recording, even though AQHA is still unexceptable. |

Location: CA | I registered a new foal this past winter. Start to finish, dna testing and all, it took about 6-8 weeks. This spring I turned in a transfer on a 2 year old and it took about 5 weeks to get the papers back. Both took a little longer than usual, but all in all it wasn’t too bad. I never had to call or anything. Guess I got lucky ??????. |

I mailed two checks to transfer papers on 5/3 and both checks cleared on 5/10. I got one set of papers about 2 weeks ago and still waiting on the other set. |

Because the ones on Facebook police mode are GD stump turtles that don't actually do any of the work. Bunch of politicians playing cowboy business men. They should have been in the training too so they could start helping to get things on track and figure out where the failures are happening in the processes. What irks me to no end is the fact they raised their prices on everything so drastically on a 'service' business and then their service takes a giant faceplant. I got a lot of questions about what testing was done on the system before the roll out and why in the hell were they unable to go back to the old system until they fixed all the bugs. I know I have read some BS excuses on that issue but I don't remember |

I really believe that AQHA will never be the same again or will never get back on track, its been to long and all the bugs should have been iron out months ago. |

Location: Arkansas | I'm just now getting to read my July America's Horse and saw an article about AQHA's Helping Hand---all I can say is when there's a paragraph called "How to Pay an Invoice" as part of the article. . . Well, that's just pretty depressing. |

Location: Kansas | Nope!!!! Filed a 2019 colt registration online. I then get a “correspondence” from them stating the stallion breeding report isn’t on file. So after 2 weeks of calling I was finally able to get a call back and was told that apparently the “signature” didn’t look right on the breeding report so they requested clarification from the stallion owner. I’m so mad, first colt that I bred myself and now who knows if I’ll even get papers on him |

Location: North of the 49th Parallel | I can't pay for my registration online because it won't accept my Canadian credit card because the postal code is "invalid." It most definitely is the correct postal code. AQHA emails back that they are "aware of the problem." ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME!? Just fix it. I know I'm not the only one who's having this issue as well.

Yet, I can't pay for my registrations because of my Canadian CC. AQHA astounds me to no levels. You want people to pay their invoices- LET ME PAY MINE!!!! |

They collect Membership renewals like clock work.
You are not kidding there, I sent in my renewal in Jan. They cashed the check a week later. I am still waiting on my new card... emailed them twice. The first time I got a call back and was promissed the new card would be in the mail the next day. 3 weeks later nothing.... so I filled out the form online about a new card. Got an email with a temp membership card a couple of days later, with again the message that a card was reordered. That was on June 7... And I am still waiting....
So I would say....nope.... not better at all....
Holy Cow!!! They have really gone down in everything.. I have always gotton my updated card within a week..
Well, here's to hoping they wil figure things out! I have a mare bred this year, so they have till around March 2020 to get it right....
But seriously, I sure hope they get things fixed soon! The stories I read about online are horrible!
Well, it finally happened! I received my new membership card in the mail yesterday.... only 6 months after my check got cashed.... Does that mean things are better? We can only hope!! |

Location: Montana | In January, when the old system was still up, I got my colt's papers back in a week. Just like always. I sat there thinking how great the online system was compared to APHA's. Little did I know. In February a friend registered one on the new systems and I think it took about 3 months to get the papers. Heard that story and thought I'd wait until the last minute on my fillies. I did try to log in then to look around and could not log in. In May (aka the last minute) I struggled through the new system to register 2 fillies. One was sold so I thought I'd be super clever and just pay for the transfer for my customer so the whole thing would be smoother. I actually got the one filly's papers in 2-3 weeks. Fortuantely, I did not hit my head on anything when I fainted. My customer still doesn't have hers. So much for smooth and efficient. I won't do that "nice" thing again. She could have her papers and a handwritten transfer in hand if I hadn't thought I was smart. This is beyond ridiculous. They had a system that worked well. Clearly, they embarked on an upgrade without adequate techical expertise. I help people with computers - and the most important thing to know is when you need to find the expensive help. Who made the decision to do this to us without the necessary expertise hired? That email (which I didn't get so thanks for the link!) mentions, "No need to get into the detail of the infinite number of complex issues involved in getting accurate information onto AQHA registration certificates other than to tell you we are making measurable improvement." I disagree. I think every member is entitled to a detailed explanation of how this went wrong. They also attempt to say this sort of "rough patch" is common in big computer upgrades. Not like this it isn't. It's not just the internal registration system that was broken. They completely redid the website. I want to know who made that decision too! I build websites - tiny ones in comparision to aqha.com. I wouldn't dream of bidding a job the size of that site. I say that to underline that anyone hired to work on aqha.com ought to be better than I am. There were amatuer mistakes made on that site "update" that NO ONE working for pay in the web design business should ever make. I mean they changed URLs without building redirects. No one does that it is so basic. It's like moving without having your mail forwarded. Rant over. (for now . . . ) And I was super happy to get my papers back promptly! |

Location: North of the 49th Parallel | I think I've posted in this thread twice of my AQHA screwups... I have another one. THEY SENT AN EMAIL TO THE WRONG STALLION OWNER. My filly did not have a breeders certificate released online (I knew this, I have a paper copy in hand), but I registered her online anyways. Submitted registration. Next morning, I get cc'd in on an email, as the mare owner, to the stallion owner asking that they release the breeders certificate online. Problem- they sent it to the wrong stallion owner. One who has absolutely ZERO connection to the stallion in question. I did find out who they were (you'd recognize their name if I name dropped it.....) and emailed them, basically stating that we were beneficairies of another AQHA screwup. AQHA then emails the correct stallion owner 30 minutes later, after the original wrong email was sent out, but no explanation. I did call them because they also double charged my credit card in the process and no one could explain it. |

Sent in registration on '18 foals in Nov - do not have papers yet!!!! No response from AQHA about any issue, reason for hold up. Can not sell yearlings without papers. |
